COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A special dark beer, whose infernal black colour, fantastically complicated bouquet, and hint of oriental spice will attract not just patrons of dark beer.

Gr0ve (2134) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 26, 2006
330 ml bottle. Dark brown, almost black, with a deep ruby hue. Melanoidan round malty aroma. Dark sweet roasted, but at the same time, soft, malts. Medium-bodied. Some carbonation that sticks to the tongue. Soft and lightly souris mouthfeel. Gentle bitterness. Easy-drinking and not particularly complex, perhaps for other than the mentioned sourness.

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2012 it sure is black. it must be the artificial colous they use. this is hard to forgive but it is a complex beer. brazil nuts and stewed plums come through. very full and seems stronger than 5.5. i’m surprised more people out there haven’t tried this one

Bottled. Very dark ruby red colour, mediumsized beige head. Roasted malts in aroma along with caramellish hints. Caramellish malty flavour with roasted hints. Caramellish, sweet sugary, aftertaste. Quite standard good dunkel from Czechia.

Gazza (726) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - APR 19, 2004
This beer is quite unusual and nothing like most other Czech dark beers. It's colour is red/black, but instead of the expected caramel comes a strong liquorice and aniseed aroma and flavour and a dry malty finish. Some toffee is present, but the beer is mainly roasted and dry. A contender for export perhaps? (Bottle at Cervent Drak, Sumperk)

Bottled. Darl, clear ruby red colour. Quite foamy, big head. Chocolatey, caramelly aroma. Has some coffeish notes as well. Quite bitter, chocolatey flavour. Unfortunately, this beer is a tad watery and thinbodied.

Buena cerveza, que ahora me de cuenta la unica cerveza chaca negra que conozco. Negra con un sabor dulce y cierta terminacion a chocolate y a regaliz
