Bottled. Clear golden, brief head. Grainy, grassy nose. Sweet and medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel,. There’s hay and oily saaz hops. Grassy finish with good bitterness. Feels a bit bold and rough, but still a highlydecent pilsener.

500ml bottle from Tesco, Plzen. Clear gold, no much head. Unmistakeable cardboard on aroma. Some lemon, not much hop, bit of sting on finish. Not great, but not too horrible. Bit metallic.

Dark golden color, good creamy head. Hoppy pinewood nose. Very malty, medium-bodied. Typical woody Czech hoppyness but not very strong. Drinkable, clean lager but not really interesting. Second tier Czech.

Bottled, 500ml, pasteurised from Tesco, Plzen. Gold with white head. A little metallic and cardboardy initially but then improves a little to a honeyed, sweetish malt beer. Lacking some hop character, but its ok for this type of beer.

bottle, Hypernova Praha-Nové Butovice. Clear deep golden yellow, large white head, malty nose. Bitter-sweet, nice malty background with a mixture of good and cheap-tasting hops. All in all a pleasant beer, which is let down a bit by the hops.
