3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 duff (5484) - Lund, SWEDEN - JAN 1, 2002
Nice head (foamy and sticks all the way to the bottom), clear golden colour, nice smelling (hoppy and floral), good bitterness on the palate, but it was a bit edgy in taste at times, but i still liked it.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 PhillyBeer2112 (2437) - Oviedo, Florida, USA - DEC 28, 2001
Crystal gold, light foamy white head. Zesty spicy almost skunky aroma. Full flavor. Fizzy. Slight sweet, with mild hops. Generally clean tasting, but still some skunkiness in the flavor. (unexpected from a brown bottle)
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Puss Gutt99 (206) - Oldtown, Florida, USA - NOV 23, 2001
it was strange but went well at a halloween party
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 joet (1919) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - NOV 20, 2001
Wow. That’s a unique aroma. I’m trying to place it... hard old plasticine, Play-Do, hints of pepper and a creamy feel. Hey this is something else. Undeniably substantial and complex for a Czech lager -- in a way that defies that pedestrian category. I am happily surprised.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 40oz (181) - Newport Beach, California, USA - NOV 9, 2001
Clear golden color with a faint hoppy malty aroma. Mild hoppy bitterness with a dry effervescent finish. A good beer.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Shadallion (534) - Sacramento, California, USA - AUG 16, 2001
Pretty full-bodied example of Chech pils, with an underhopped finish. Stick with Pilsner Urquell.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Oakes (10941) - Savusavu, FIJI ISLANDS - AUG 7, 2001
Fresh, hoppy, good malt backbone. Fairly tasty example of a Czech pilsner.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 weeicemon (126) - Lancaster, California, USA - MAR 16, 2001
Fairly unobstrusive with no head to speak of. Besides the slight bitterness, no real hop bite to mention. This seems like the Budweiser of Czech beers (but this is still much better).
