Bottle 0,5L. Golden beer. Aroma is grainy and malty. Grainy taste, little bit fruity. Without aftertaste.

Can. Golden with lots of carbonation. Aromas are biscuit malts with lots of sugar. Also has corn, pepper and soap. Flavours are grain, corn and sugar. Some biscuit malts with hints of sweet mellow lemon. Had it unchilled in a hotel room - probably better cold.

frankenkitty (1958) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - DEC 2, 2005
Yellow/golden and lightly hazed as mentioned, but mine poured with a slight head that fizzed away without a trace and was peppered with yeasty bits. Sweetly malted aroma with toasted grain, beef broth and husky adjuncts. Smells metallic but that doesn’t come through in the flavor. Light sweetness in a thin body with a mild finish that is sour and dirty.

Note to Cornfield: Couldn’t find it ’til now, and only in a can.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2005 I feel honored, being the first to rate this Polish Pilsener. (How on earth did I beat frankenkitty?) It makes me wish that I liked it more. It has a pale yellow, slightly hazy body with a good-lacing, one-fingered head. It’s got a very faint aroma, sweet and grainy, a hint of corn, and a light whoosh of floral hops. This is watery stuff. The taste is sweetness with a small splash of hops and a mineral water finish. The end.
