(500ml bottle) Purchased at the BCLS in Fairfield Plaza, Victoria. Clear golden body with a thin, white dissipating head. Nose od wet grain, rose water and light malt. Flavour is mildly bitter, sweet maltedness and an oily palate finish. Quite enjoyable.

Jul 15, 2009 Nice appearance, featuring a foamy white one-finger head, and a clear, rich gold colour. Aroma was a nicely hopped typical Euro-pil, with some floral notes. Taste was a little bit sharp, with something I couldn’t quite indentify - maybe the bready malts mentioned elsewhere - I’m not so good at discerning these. Mouthfeel was acceptable, and the aftertaste slightly sweet.

Jun 7, 2009 Light orangy gold in apearance with some microscopic floaties. Poured a small white rocky cap that evaporated quicker than Possum Chili Con Carne on Thanksgiving in the Ozarks. Now there’s zero head - not even a ring. Still lightly bubbling though. Aroma is similar to that India beer smell that I am not fond of. Unsavoury sweet bready malts and maybe the faintest hint of weak licorice (??not quite..). There are some chewy malts to be found in the flavour along with a slight sour taste, very mild spice and on some sips some bitterness. Mouthfeel is quite carbonated. Dry sourness and varying bitterness levels from non-existant to mild. Easy drinking, but if I drank a bunch of bottles I’d probally explode from excess gas. Meh.

Apr 24, 2009 bottle, thank you Michau! Hazy deep golden colour, large and persistent white head. Malty aroma. Medium-boided, intensive malt flavours combined with aromatic and bitter hops. The hops taset slightly dusty, the malt is fabulous. The lovely malty flavours give the beer a touch of Bohemia. A very nice beer.

Jan 23, 2009 Draught @ Academus, Wroclaw. Golden with a small white head. Malt and corn aroma, sweet malt flavour and hop bitterness. Not a bad beer though a little skunky this one.

Sep 4, 2008 500 mL bottle frfom Bottlescrew Bills, Calgary, AB. Aroma is strongly alcoholic and hoppy. Flavour is pungent and unusual. Interesting and satisfying mouthfeel, but an unusual and unlikeable aftertaste ruins this beer for me. Overall, not too bad, but wouldn’t drink again.

Feb 20, 2008 Updated: Feb 29, 200816oz can. Strong Notes of syrupy honey with floral aroma and alcohol with faint hops. The flavor comes alive when this beer is really cold. Awful when warm.
