A dark lager with an exceptionally fine taste which is talked about with recognition and admiration. Staropramen Dark is exceptional for its calming, full-bodied, sweetish caramel taste with gentle, hopsy bitterness. It is a taste you will never forget.

Botella de 330ml. Copa Pokal. 330ml bottle. Pokal glass. Dark brown color & brownish amber to the light. Yellowish froth, close & lasting crown, some rings are left. Noble hop aromas & slight chocolate hints on the back. Roasted & dried upfront. Light body. Moderate carbonation. Watery texture. Low floral bitterness in the middle lingers into a light spicy & bitter/sweet finish. Very easy drinkable beer.

Bottle 50cl, a brown beer with off white head. Nose is on toasted cereals. Aroma is on caramel, biscuits, metallic, berries, bottom yeast, brown biscuit, almost no hops, correct for the alcohol level even if not outstanding.

Tap on the old square in Prague. Some caramel and brown sugar in a relatively lame nose. Rather lame and weak, no body. Crap.
