COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Braník is a typical Czech beer with a very refreshing taste, a natural "bite" and pure hopsy aroma. Braník Brewery was founded by a group of brewmasters from small historical breweries in 1899 under the name "Corporate Brewery of Prague Brewmasters".

Golden color. Slight hoppy aroma and flavor. Just a hint of glue and fresh grass. Lovely light lager. Clean, soft but tasty.

Tap in Prague. Has a slightly industrial flavour, pretty thin, with minimal saaz bitterness, ends up feeling more like you’re average European Lager. Very pale, with not a lot of flavour.

Golden colour with a white fast disappearing head. Malty aroma with a slight fruity sweetness. Malty flavor with hints of fresh apple. Light bitter finish.

Canned. Pale golden, brief head. Appley, lightly grassy aroma. Light bodied and medium dry with fairly soft mouthfeel. Low-medium bitterness. Industrialized version of Czech pils. Boring, but drinkable.

This is a light-colored beer. Not much else to say, except that there are many different beers that are better to have while in the Czech Rep. Also, this could have possibly been the Branik 10 svelte also listed when searched for branik. My bottle said Branik Povodni Receptura Azlozeno Ceskym Sladiky...which doesn’t mean anything to this American.

UPDATED: JUL 2, 2013 courtesy of Philipp and Thomas; canned - bright and pale golden beer with a little white foam left; shy aroma of oily grassy hops; thin-bodied, tart and with some sweetness below; quite dry and harsh with a short vanishing corny finish - barely drinkable

Not impressed with this beer at all. ’Tasted’ mass produced and overly cheap. Little flavour, not much aroma, and generally an all round poorly produced beverage. On the other hand, damn cheap in prague

Bottle. Aroma of bread. Rough bitterness. Fruity aftertaste.
