[Bottled. Courtesy of gnoff.] Pale golden colour. Pretty big head, though vanishing. Extremely dry already in flavour, no sugar left whatsoever. Bit fruity in flavour but lacking in maltiness totally - like expected. There is a light hop tone.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2007 Light Gold. Very light malt and Chemical aroma, and more of the same in the flavor. Lightly bitter. Some corn as well. Not really bad, just nothing to enjoy.

(Bottle 50 cl) A lighter version of the original Staropramen Premium with reduced sugars and carbonhydrates for diabetics. Pale golden, small head. OK freshness and easy-to-drink. But nothing more.

Bottle. Pale lager, OK aroma of bread. Watery, not much character. Tastes almost like low-alcohol beer.

Ugh. My sister brought this back from Kutna Hora for me, and upon translating the website description I saw the word "diabetic" with dread. In terms of smell and colour it looks like a Bohemian Pils, only with zero head retention. Very fizzy, zero malt character with the typical sugar tang that Aus lagers have. Cidery flavour abound and it finishes quite bitter, presumably because of the lack of malt balance. Definitely not recommended.
