Kĺstĺ (1144), Mol, Belgium Sep 23, 2005 Blond, light reddish beer with a medium head. The aroma is grassy with a light fruity caramelly tone. The taste is bitter and well balanced.
nbutler11 (218), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Oct 1, 2008 Pours like a cider in color from the tap with mild carbonation and a pillowy white head that leaves substantial lacing. Smells and tastes of skunky yeasy and unripe apples. Not the greatest beer, but certainly a thirst quencher. yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Sep 14, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is mild hoppy to light citrus fruity. Mild malty flavour with a light bitterness showing through. Dry and malty finish. heavy (503), Split, Croatia Aug 9, 2008 07/08 0.5 l bottle from a gas station near Ostrava. Had clear red body. Aroma is weak, but very nice, some slight sourness from lemony and apple hops with caramel malt. Flavor is nice, some sourness from apple and lemon hops with bitterness from roasted sugar and cofee, while sweet part is maybe the most intense, so the whole flavor is dominated by caramel. Pleasant and quite full bodied. Short cofeeish finish. Interesting and complex, but still don’t like it so much as some ordinary czech pilseners. But good one anyway! dEM1972 (51), , Illinois, USA Aug 2, 2008 It has that deep, Garnet colour, with a somewhat hoppy aroma; Bitter, somewhat acidic taste with hoppy elements somewhere in there, overly gassy; light watery aftertaste with a residual butterness that seems to leave this strange linger acidity on the tongue sir_Pino (588), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Jul 20, 2008 No 331

Bottle green, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours deep, essential, clear, very transparent, strong tea of good quality like body colour, very interesting and nice with visually lively carbonation and initially medium head, very slowly decreasing to small, but not to minimal, frothy, off - white with decent and very nice lacing, the body actually is very deep and focused, essential amber in colour reminding clean and good quality English Bitter/ESB, really - nice firm head, some orange hue is prasent.
Aroma: Very mild, milky, covered with frothy and dense head that is small in size, but in fact very firm, slightly aromatic flowery hops being Zatec like, when it comes to malts it is very interesting and unusual experience for me as I’ve had only 1 or 2 Vienna Lagers before and really I have no great experience in assessing that unusual for me type of malt used in the beer. It’s very mild and something like being in between Pilzen malt and Munich malt, neither too Pilzen like nor to Munich like, so all in all not that pronounced, hiding somewhere at the background. A bit juicy with young cherry accent.
Flavour: Very nice and strong essential, refreshing citrusy bitterness attacking your tongue and binding it and hoppy aroma lifting your nose trills, flowery and floral hops are playing the great role here while the malty base is hidden at the background being kind of burned cherry seeds like. Some saltyness on palate from very well adjusted effervescence. Wonderfull and really unexpected flavour.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is dry (like in IPA or Bitter), carbonation on palate is very lively in deed and finish feel is essentially bitter, citrusy, grapefruity, unforgetable, fresh and clean. Great job of Staropramen Breweries once again.
