On tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is malty and herbal. Taste is slightly sweet with some bitterness. Medium body and average carbonation. Overall it’s drinkable beer.

As Pivana Nefiltrirano. Hazy honey color, medium sized white head. Malty aroma and taste. Sounds like more drinkable version of Ožujsko to me.
(Pivana 0,5l on tap)

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2015 Pivana Nefiltrirano - apparently unfiltered regular Staropramen (not Staropramen Nefiltrovany). Anyway, on tap at Pivana. Hazy golden body, ok, lasting head. OK aroma, vaguely honeyish in the background with a dusty herbal note. Mild, dry and thin taste, vaguely herbal, no sweetness, ending in some dusty, slightly generic bitterness. That herbal note is OK, the rest is quite forgettable. Better than regular Ožujsko though.

Test vom 29.11.2009, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 12,13,14,14,-,14 - 13,63

Draught@SBWF2012. Hazy yellowish orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, sweet malty along with quite big yeastyness. Flavour is yeasty, fruity, wooden with mild herbal, grassy and toffeeish notes. Thin palate though.

Draught sample @ SBWF 2012. Pours golden with a big white head. The aroma has got the fresh notes of hay and bread that one are looking for. Taste is however quite dull and tastes a bit like old white bread.

Very light beer, no noticeable aroma, a boring beer, pilsner urquell is a better choice for this style of beer

I have to assume this is what I had at the shitty little rock bar in kutna hora, labeled Staropramen Nefiltrovany, because what’s listed here as that name has coriander and wheat and other stuff in it and this certainly did not. Body was deeply cloudy and pale gold with a tall fine-bubbled creamy white head. Nose is extremely pale and neutral with only light touches of pilsner malt and semi-sweet egg white yeast - no discernable hop aromatics, it’s just too muddled. Flavor is pale and quiet wet crackers with sludgy yeast, masking any hop flavor, though their bitterness is present in small amounts. Dense, frothy and rotund body. A strange one, altogether not bad but I greatly prefer the regular Staropramen 12°, even if it isn’t a superb bohemian pilsner, it’s at least clean and crisp.

Cloudy amber with a stable white head. Eggs in nose, malt, yeast, orange peel and hay. Light body. Malty taste on palate with notes of summer meadow. Aftertaste is slightly spicy and bitter. B@H
