Rich yellow w/ generous white head. Fresh aroma w/ notes of bread, grass, & saaz hops. Light, lively feel. Fresh, crisp flavour w/ nicely bitter finish. Balanced slightly toward the malt.

Another Eastern block beauty from Prague. Actually comes up trumps on tap, but a classic German hopped brew in the bottle.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2007 Fine hop and fruit aroma, golden amber, pours a medium white head, nice lace. Good bitter flavour, with a malt after taste. Really well balanced, terrfic mouth feel! A treat of a Bohemian.

From the tap: sweet hoppy aroma, amber hue, wheaty, hoppy and slightly sour undertones, well laced, good solid aftertaste

A true classic from Prague: intensely hoppy, filled with malt, very drinkable.

Tastes like just another Czech pilsner to me. Nothing special about this one. It's light and easy to drink, and very refreshing.

A nice medium gold and white head start this one. Not quite up to the look of a Czechvar, for example. Fairly typical pilsener aroma, though still nice. Flavor is alright, though a little weak and lacks anything to really make the style its own. A lot of my comparison is directly related to my first Czechvar, which I had just last night, and found to be a great pils. This one is alright, but just can't compare, in my opinion.

This is one of the reasons why I like the Czech Republic. It doesn't lose flavor or have a watered down taste like the American Standard beers.

Fantastic aroma, with massive hints of toffee and banana. Head is a little dissapointing. Average palate.
