4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Absolutely one of my favorites. This is one of the crispest, most refreshing beers out there in the style of Pilsner Urquell and Budvar. Nice hopiness. Thanks Czechezslovokia for all of the great beers.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma has malt and Sazer hops. Relatively full bodied. Hoppy, malty flavor with just a bit of orange fruitiness. Nice hoppy finish. Soft and clean palate. Fine pilsener in the best Czech tradition.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAY 23, 2004 Rerate: Tried it on tap. Definately better than the bottled version. Seems more fresh. Hops, sweet and fruit charateristics are dominant in aroma and flavour. Very pleasant bitterness in the end.
Original rate bottled version(3,1): Hop is recognizable in aroma as well as flavour. Good bitter after taste. This is by far not as good as Urquell, but still its an overavarage pilsener.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear, golden with thin head and lace. Typical pils aroma of saaz, herbs, slight toast and others. Thinnish body, decent malt/fruity flavors, nice saaz bite but nothing to write home about. Average pils, average brew.

Pale gold. Medium sized head. Maltier than Urquell. Floral smell. Crisp finish. Nicly hopped.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Medium gold color, small foamy head. Yeasty and fruity aroma. Mild light bodied pilsner. A little malty, some flavor. Smooth taste, but a little artificial tasting. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is neutral. Some green bottle skunkyness. Really why bother drinking this stuff. Average beer at best.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Crystal clear light gold. Fizzy, stark white edge head. Slow carbonation. Spicy Saaz aroma, butter and toasted white bread. Modestly crisp, dank hop flavor and syrup sweetness. Lightly bitter hop aftertaste of spicy, herbal notes. Light body. Mostly clean. Styrofoam flavor creeps in as it warms. Softer and not as brisk as most examples. Finishes blandly malty but with an oomph of hop bitterness. OK, but there are many, many finer examples.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Beautifully balanced beer. Good strength flavour, aroma, hops, crispness and sweetness.
Great on draft on a hot summer evening. Wonderful!

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Not bad. Very similar to Prilsner Urquell, but a little darker in colour and a bit more malt flavour. Generally dry and crisp, but it does have some sweetness to it.
