Pale gold in colour with delicately flowery aromas and a taste in which hop crispness and malty softness combines to highly drinkable effect.

Decent enough, but not on par with a good Pilsener Urquell. Tends to be skunky.

Decent beer, but nothing great. Generic Bohemian hops aroma, flavor is malty, somewhat spicy. Slight metallic mouthfeel.

Aroma old and skunky. Still a good appearance and a nice flavor despite the inherent skunky problems. Good all around Pilsener. I just wish I could try it a little fresher or on tap somewhere. If someone knows a place in Ohio, drop me a line.

I’m not generally a pilsner drinker and after this Czech beer, I’m still not, but I’m more cultured now.As always a mediocre Czech pils is still a much better than the rest of the world,Floarly, light malt flavors, clean, crisp, somewhat dry.

Rather uninspired, sort of Eurotrash. Thin on malt, boring hops. Did look rather nice, however, with tall, robust head. Would much rather have a Czechvar.

An ordinary pilsener.

In Denmark, this pilsner is one of 3 czech pilsner available at many supermarkets. Not as good as Urquell and Budovar, but still much better than most danish pilsners. Nice bitterness. Tastes better in Prague (-:

Decent pilsener. Happily it doesn’t smell as bad as German pilseners do.

Extremely skunky aroma, head that looks like halfway dried caulk. Slightly grainy, bready taste as long as I hold my breath. Not something that will be repeated unless I could get it a lot fresher than in a bottle in the US.
