16 oz draft at a local sports bar. Appearance is a clear golden yellow color, much what you would expect of a good bohemian pilsener. Aroma is hoppy and fresh. Quite a bitter taste but not too overpowering. Palate is moderately rough but no bad aftertaste and a full body. Very dry. Overall not a bad option.

Draft at Queens Arm in Kensington, London. Poured a golden yellow body with little white head. Aroma is malt, and skunk. The taste is pretty smooth, the skunkyness is not overtly offensive. Good boheem pils.

Poured a nice golden color with afinger of white head. The nose had a definite skunky aroma with a little maltiness beneth. The flavor was smooth and lightly sweet with a slightly biting finish. Mouthfeel is light and effervescent with a lingering hop finish. An acceptable lager it has the virtue of being very crisp, and a little lemony, which in this case was a good thing.

Bottle from Trader Joes. Pours a golden color with a nice bubbly white head. Nose is sweet malts, bread, a touch of hops and a bit of skunk. Palate is fairly sweet with a decent dry light hop finish. Not too bad for pilsner really.

12 oz bottle: Caramel orange pour with a frothy, finger high head. Green, skunky hop nose with notes of wet grass, pine needles and bitter rind. Notes of honey and caramel balance the hoppy body. Drinks easy and has a nice balance for the style. A little bitter and green, but overall a nice summer drinker.

Pretty much what you would expect of a Czech Pilsner. An average beer that is certainly enjoyable and drinkable.

Can: Deep golden colour under a small head. Good hoppy aroma with some malt in the background. Delicate bitterness with a medium body...smooth.

Pours clear gold with a bubbly white head. Grass, honey, and perfume in the aroma. Clean hop sweetness up front, but bleeds into corn, straw, and grain. Malty biscuit finish. Not bad
