Pale gold in colour with delicately flowery aromas and a taste in which hop crispness and malty softness combines to highly drinkable effect.

From the bottle poured a golden brew with a nice white head. Light delicate aroma and flavor. Nice balance between malt and hops. Only thing tat really comes close to Pilsner Urquel.

Bottle @ European Taste. Golden with decent white head that dissipated and light lacing. Light floral aroma cut by a citric note and some metallic ness. Light bodied with a dry crispness light hop finish. Flavor is not too sweet.

A golden coloured beer with a weak white head. A light, syrupy malt aroma with a hint of metallic hop. Dry mouthfeel. The taste follows on from the aroma. Metallic hops are balanced by a syrupy pale malt. The finish is short and a tad harsh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice hopsy aroma. Nice bottle, better than most Estonian beers. Tastes like a classical malty beer. Good for sauna. Semi-full body. Overall a good beer from the Czechs.

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 2B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch M0723. AROMA: grainy sweet aroma with faint floral hop notes. no esters. APPEARANCE: dark gold and translucent. thin white head with average retention. TASTE: faint sweet malt flavour with low bitterness. semi-sweet finish and absent hop flavours. PALATE: low body and low carbonation. OVERALL: a czech bohemian pilsner that lacks complexity on the malt and hop front and with thin body.

A very good lager indeed. Tasty and with a nice fresh mouth feel. Widely available now, and that’s a very good thing. Crisp yet smooth.

Poured from a bottle a bright and clear golden yellow. Fizzes as it built a puffy white head. Faint malt and sweet floral aroma. Crisp effervescent flavors of sweet fruit with hop and grass bitterness.

Pours a clear golden color with lots of streaming carbonation bubbles. There is a thick white head that left some lacing around the glass. The aroma bready and sweet malts and possibly some yeast as well. The taste has some hops up front that are pretty noticeable even though they are not overpowering. It finishes very sweet and bready. The mouth-feel is light/medium and the drink-ability is rather high. This is a great beer and I highly recommend it.
