| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 16, 2009 Poured from the bottle into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a mostly clear gold color with rising bubbles to a smaller, foamy white head with modest retention and little cling. It had a crisp hop aroma with some citrus and a good bit of grain, maybe even some yeast and malt. The taste was distinctly Czech and largely a sour-bitter grain flavor. Decent carbonation and a lively mouthfeel, average-density on the palate and fairly dry. A solid beer. MrRain (439), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA

Intresting hop aroma, the beer is less sweet and complex than the Urquell one but a nive pils anyway. Quite bitter at the finish. drowland (1444), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
