Pale gold in colour with delicately flowery aromas and a taste in which hop crispness and malty softness combines to highly drinkable effect.

Bottle 500 ml. Pours clear yellow with white head. Malty flavor and aroma. Used to be way better. Usually causes headaches the day after.

Draft - I thought this was a quite nice and balanced Czech pils - clean, medium sweet malt profile - fairly soft texture, but crisp, dry flavor on the tail end - perhaps not the level of grassy hop flavor and snappy finish many of the better examples display, but this is nice.

Bottle 33cl. Color is clear golden, vanilla-white foam settles quickly, some lacing. Aroma is malty bread, dust and minerals. Hint of citrus. Taste is kind of artificially malty, bitter hoppy, some over cooked vegetables and somewhat watery. Ends watery. Medium to high carbo, medium body. On tap this is great, on bottle it doesn’t hold up very good.

Very nice drinkable pilsener. Little less hoppy than I hoped it to be, but it might not be a big con. Smell is the best feature, this beer has.

Very tasty, easy drinking beer. Slightly hoppy, balanced flavor, golden color and white foam. Much better on tap. An all time beer.

Gyllen gul med medium hvitt skum. Lukt av malt og litt frukt, samt noe humle i smaken. Litt bitter ettersmak, ganske ordinćr...

The aromas of this beer are full and enticing, very rich and all of hops and sweetness. The color is reminiscent of ginger ale and the carbonation is high, causing a frothy head that lingers long. The taste is rather light, somewhat bready, and dry. The beer is a bit underhopped in my opinion, I expected a more pronounced profile from the aroma. Not bad but not balanced the way I like this style to be; overall unremarkable.

Tap at Salas Detvan. Aroma metallic hops extract. Clear golden, stable head. Taste is initially moderately adjuncty malt. Bitterness is moderate, linger into the finish. Neutral hops flavour. Classic industrial example.

Twelve ounce bottle from Whitey’s in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, tasted on October 4, 2013, with an expiration date of 6/28/2013--I have to start looking at the labels more closely before buying. Sweet/skunky nose, clear golden color, moderate pungent bittersweet flavor. Not bad--might have been better before 6/28/2013, though I’m sure the green bottle didn’t better.
