Pale gold in colour with delicately flowery aromas and a taste in which hop crispness and malty softness combines to highly drinkable effect.

Draught @ Flying Saucer, Addison. Clear deep golden pour, negligible head. Barley nose and flavour, bit sweet, not very bitter. Okay.

A pretty good lager. Golden and very crisp. Thick, quickly disappearing head. Hay and grassy hops, some apple sweetness.

330ml bottle poured in a ordinary glass. Another review in the train... :) Now, a classic Czech Pilsener. I’m a fan of Czech Pilseners: They are simple, "hoppy" and usually refreshing. A: Nice transparent gold to orange color with a nice and white 2-3 fingers head. Nice retention. S: Malt and fresh-floral hops. Bready. T: Fresh hops, malt and yeasts. Nice bitterness (of course, little bit more bitter than the German version). Refreshing as expected. M: Nice bitter end (I like it) and good carbonation. Yeasts can also be felt in the end. D: Good drinkability. Classic Pilsener. [ BA Review @ 2/12/2010 ]

Random bar in Prague. Keg. Crystal clear yellow with a thin lasting head. Aroma is standard mass lager, some apple, grains. Flavour is standard inoffensive lager, some sweetness, some apple. Carbonic acid bite in the finish. Palate is light, semi sweet and high carbonation. Bored now.

has a toasty nose, malty sweetness followed by a light hop bitterness. slightly metallic. Not bad but i will stick to Pilsner Urquel.

(Bottle) Clear golden with good white head. Pleasant aroma with slightly bready light malt under a grassy hop aroma. Light with plenty of soft carbonation. Taste has hop bitterness from start to finish. The start also has some quite pleasant sweetness but this disappears quickly and for most of the duration the taste is thin and watery providing insufficient balance to the bitterness. Unfortunately too that bitterness is rather harsh. Not well balanced.

Bottle. Clear pale gold. Really fresh hoppy grassy aroma. Light, crisp, well-balanced flavour. One of my favourite big name European lagers.

500ml can (Rock’n’Roll, Tartu)
Stinky extracty hop acridness i aroma, some sweet hops. Pale, no idea about the head as I drank it from the can. Slightly sweet malts, starchy, and then a monstrous, and I mean horrific, acrid metal bite. Poisonous plants taste of this as a warning not to eat them. Worls class horror. Took 2 cans of Saku Rock to purge this disaster from my mouth. Utterly wful.
