Pours a clear light golden with one finger head with medium lacing. Starts a toasted malt. Grassy hops. A little skunky. Sweet upfront and quickly turns moderately bitter. Medium finish. Medium to thin bodied, sticky mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Typical green-bottled beer.

Slightly smokey hoppy aroma. Quite a fruity hoppy taste. Looks like a generic lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught. Golden color, no head, too cold. Low aroma maily malt and sweet. When it got warmer awful dirty rag smell, no taste but malty sweet. No hops no bitterness. Did not finish this s...

Bottle from Liquor Mountain in Japan. A pretty average bohemian pils, better than the macro-American swill but not by that much. Somewhat damaged in transit-the green bottles don’t help. A pale gold, white fizzy head with a crackery lightly bready malt aroma with minimal to no hops. The taste is crisp fairly clean and light. Refreshing on a hot day but not really that interesting. Decent enough.

(50 cl can; BBD: May 25th 2015; L0538) Poured into a Brřckhouse footed pilsner glass. Appears a clear golden with plenty of white, creamy head and lively carbonation. The head actually has remarkable retention and even leaves fluffy traces of lace as the beer is consumed. Aroma is not terribly exciting consisting mostly of malt, subtle herbal hop and a hint of dust. Crisp palate that is well balance by a restrained malty sweetness and finishes dry leaving you wanting more. Body is light bordering on medium. Flavour is well balanced with a little initial sweetness, which does however give way relatively quickly to the bittering of the Saaz hops. Refreshing but a bit of a disappointing revisit to one of my old gateway beers from the late 90’s.

Blonde assez foncée. Translucide.

W aromacie delikatna nuta chmielowa. W smaku delikatna goryczka chmielowa. Ciało wodniste, średnio nasycone.

Nice czech pilsner beer, more tasty but not well balanced as others of it’s kind.

On tap, poured into a nonic glass. Notes of mineral / stone, lemon, pine, and bread come through on the nose. It pours a clear, oily yellow with a white, soft head that reduces to a medium ring with a cloudy surface and leaves behind a decent amount of web-like lace. The taste is a medium bitter with a medium light sweet touch. There’s a soft, yet fuzzy and prickly carbonation to this thin textured beer. Flavors of bread, toast, honey and minerals fill out the medium-light body, with a light, zippy, crisp, and spicy clean finish that leaves little to no aftertaste.
