Pours a light amber/orange with a loose rocky white head. Aromas of heavy grass, musky malts, slightly doughy and with a touch of honey. Tastewise, some sweetness and a little lemon. Medium light body and kind of bland with a watery finish.

Bottle from The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) Pours a clear golden colour with a thick fizzy head. Aroma of straw, grain, grass, little spiciness and slightly metallic. Taste of straw, grain, grassy and herbal hops plus a little honey. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A decent bitter finish. Not too bad but had better.

Not a bad lager. Middle of the pack. Many European and American are better and as many worse. Nice hops flavor which I like. All in all, not a beer I would say no to.

Bottle from Asda Gateshead. I've a soft spot for this. Pours dark yellow, not much head but an interesting and refreshing flavour for a major lager

Appearance: pours a frothy eggshell head which recedes slowly with significant lacing. Color is a clear deep gold with moderate streaming carbonation. Aroma: pleasant aroma of floral hops, yeasty bread, and some lightly roasted malt sweetness Mouthfeel: fairly light and crisp with a pleasingly dry finish. Flavor: near perfect combination of bready malt, some nice sweetness to balance the floral and bittering hops. Overall: an absolutely delicious beer. Smells and taste great. A pleasure to drink. Will definitely be trying this one again.

Armadill0 (286) - FINLAND - APR 13, 2013
Bottle. Typical gold lager color and quite a lot of white foam that vaporates quickly. Smooth, some dry bite to it. Pretty plain taste with just some hints of malt to it. Slightly fruity, light carbonation. Taste doesn't last long. All in all your typical lager, yet a fine example in that category. Nothing spectacular but it'll do the job.
