Nice slightly malty czech. Kinda like Urqell with a tad less hops.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma agradable y fresco.

Not a bad little lager. Much better than a lot of the rubbish you can get in pubs. Goes down very easy and has hoppy and grassy notes. Sweetish with a assertive bitterness at the back of the mouth.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours deep golden amber with solid creamy head. Aromas of toasted malts, florals and hops. Taste is of pronounced floral hops which have a crisp, but not over powering long finish. Very nice indeed!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap, Prague. Yellow with thick white head. A bit malty start but dry overall; a full flavor but generally weak for a 12-degree.
Staropramen seems to be the most inconsistent Czech beer when it comes to taps, so try to drink it at a pub that knows how to keep its taps clean and is crowded, so you know it’s fresh.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled. The colour is yellow; the foam is at first big, bit it sinks down to a thin white lid quite fast.
The smell is rather strong with some bread-like malt and lots of sweet hops (Saaz?). Fresh - just like you would expect from a Czech Pilsner.
The carbonation is quite strong, a good thing.
The taste got notes of white bread from the malt and a balanced dry hoppy note. The bitterness grows into a fine, very pleasing aftertaste.
I found this Pilsner OK, it does it job but not much more. Can I have some more bitter hops, please?

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a dark yellow with a large, but quick dissolving white head. Fairly skunky aroma. Reminds me of Grolsch a bit. Pretty good overall. Definately one of the better Pilsners I have tried.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very light colour, very carbonated but a good lager compared to its competitors. This really is a premium lager, with a pleasant bitterness and a good combination of flavours. All in all, okay, for a lager.

0,5l bottle. Copper color, foamy big head which is gone quite quickly. Hoppy aroma, some malts. Fresh hoppy taste, not much of bitterness. Ok pils.
