Pale gold in colour with delicately flowery aromas and a taste in which hop crispness and malty softness combines to highly drinkable effect.

500ml can. Pours with average sized, white, creamy head. Slowly dissipates into decent lace. Colour is yellow (Lovibond 5). Relatively odourless, and not an abundance of taste. Medium carbonation, and light body make this a very easy drinking beer. Lightly sweet initially, lightly bitter finish.

Bottle. Straw yellow with very short-lasting head. Aroma is citrus and, well, pilsner. Aroma is, for me, not good, bitter, and unpleasant.

smells like beer of old which i have come to love. sipping this out the bottle behind the polski meat house at 11am. here goes.... taste is clean. fresh grass. nearly no skunk. some clove taste. pretty good. i had a lech beer right before this and that was a little less flavor but more refreshing. nothing too special about this but it was the only one in the store still good on drink-by date

I hate to give such a short review, but I can sum this beer up in one sentence: it taste’s like ham. I kid you not, this beer tastes like weird deli meat (and not the good stuff). I guess there is some faint straw and honey, but it’s tough to pick up over the weird skunkiness. Wouldn’t touch it again unless I was in the C.R. and I could try it at the source.

660Ml Bottle. Particularly good or bad beers are easy to review - mediocre corporate mass market ones are much harder - and this one, despite being Czech (now via Canada) is one of those beers. Arome is as one would expect of a lager, maybe a few citrus and apple notes in there as well but theyre faint. It pours a thick foamy white head that last but eventually gives way to a tight laced head over a golden wheat coloured body. It tastes ... well theres no other way of putting it - like a standard lager. No character but nothing wrong with it either. If you want a reasonable inexpensive lager- this aint bad but it aint good either.

Golden color with small but lacy white head. Aroma is sweet malty and buttery hoppy. Flavor is malty with crispy hoppy finish. Aftertaste is sweety toffy. Palate is light- to medium-bodied with moderate carbonation.

Hoppy dry pilsner with nice amount of bitterness. Light citrus and corn notes. Not too sweet. Medium-high refreshing carbonation. Easily drinkable. Golden clear body with medium sized head.
