2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light, crisp and carbonated palate. Bitter to the taste with slight barley and hops flavor. Pours a golden yellow color with thin, quickly dissipating head. Aroma of harvest corn, slightly skunky. Very well balanced but nothing special... I’d definitely have it again though.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Liquor Mountain. Drank loads of this living in Prague, first time in years... pours clear gold, low fizzy head that goes. Nice full bready malt aroma, herbal Noble hops. Similar flavour but kinda bland. A little under-carbonated, but not exactly a fresh bottle. Good to know I can still turn to this budget everyday pils, for about Ą200 it’s ok fridge filler.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Asda Gateshead. I've a soft spot for this. Pours dark yellow, not much head but an interesting and refreshing flavour for a major lager

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Appearance: pale blond color. Little head, white color and not lasting.
Aroma: light floral-hoppy smells, some fruitiness like papayas and sugar’s aromas.
Flavor: pale malts start but ephemeral, rapid progress of a light dry-hoppy with persistency.
Palate: light body and some silky texture.
Mediocre and disappointment Czech Pils.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Strong hops in aroma, some honey and a little hint of motor oil or something like that (unfortunately). Also a little bit of alcohol. Overall aroma is not too bad though.
Appearance: golden and clear with nice and quite long lasting head. Some lacing shows up.
The level of bitterness is above medium in my opinion. Small amount of sweetness.
Medium body, medium thin feel, average carbonation, bitter finish.
Very drinkable beer, but that motor oil aroma is a little bit repulsive.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
When I mention to people here in Sweden that I drink beer, they always mention Czech beer, especially Staropramen as if it were some sort of holy grail. Let me assure you, it is not. I struggle to find flavours other than a stuffy stale maltiness and a cloying sweetness that makes me want to go drink something else.
