Pale gold in colour with delicately flowery aromas and a taste in which hop crispness and malty softness combines to highly drinkable effect.

Barva, pěna, vůně a chuť vytváří unikátní senzorický profil tohoto spodně kvašeného ležáku uvařeného z 2 druhů sladů a 5 druhů chmele, včetně žateckého, který je srdcem tohoto piva. Bottle 33cl. Color is clear golden, vanilla-white foam settles quickly, some lacing. Aroma is malty bread, dust and minerals. Hint of citrus. Taste is kind of artificially malty, bitter hoppy, some over cooked vegetables and somewhat watery. Ends watery. Medium to high carbo, medium body. On tap this is great, on bottle it doesn’t hold up very good.

Una pilsner Ceca senza infamia né lode, niente di speciale. Acquosa, malti chiari e amaro erbaceo leggero sul finale.

Pours a clear gold-yellow colour with little head. Big hop aroma. Taste similar to Pilsner Urquell with a nice malt flavour but with more pronounced hops. Long lasting hop bitterness aftertaste. Very nice.

Poured a golden with a respectable white head (while it lasted, which wasn’t long). Mild skunkiness from the green bottle, but it dissipated after a few minutes. Predominantly grassy aroma, with a faint earthy undertone. I’m not a big fan of the style, why pay import prices for the same flavor as cheap american lagers, but this one isn’t as bad as most.

Solid Czech pilsener. Good taste, typical for Czech pilsener, with a medium to storng sense of bitterness. Foam stays three minutes on top, colour is golden.

Had this from the tap in Prague, CZ. Poured pale straw yellow with active carbonation and medium white, slightly lacing head. Aroma of sweet malt, straw, light citrus. Flavor of sweet malt and light citrus. Thin palate with some carbonation and tongue coating character. I can see why the waiter insisted I try this.

very light in color. Light in flavor as well. A little lemon flavor. Not much going in here

Appearance: pours a frothy eggshell head which recedes slowly with significant lacing. Color is a clear deep gold with moderate streaming carbonation. Aroma: pleasant aroma of floral hops, yeasty bread, and some lightly roasted malt sweetness Mouthfeel: fairly light and crisp with a pleasingly dry finish. Flavor: near perfect combination of bready malt, some nice sweetness to balance the floral and bittering hops. Overall: an absolutely delicious beer. Smells and taste great. A pleasure to drink. Will definitely be trying this one again.

Pours a crisp golden yellw with a few fingers of stark white head. Strong odor of grass. Very crisp, with a little sweetness in the middle that leads to a bit of a metallic hoppy bitterness towards the end.

Unexciting almost bland. It got a little better as it warmed but it tasted way too much like Bud Or Miller without quite sinking that low. A little platic in mouthfeel but not all bad. It had a richer consitancey then American Standard and was a bit smoother. Had a faint if pleasent honey-hop scent, that did not reflect its taste. Looked very piss yellow.
