metalic aroma, fine amber-like color, with a frothy white head. light bitter, light sweet taste. average carbonation, thin texture, and a soft bitter aftertaste.

Appearance: Yea, what’s not to like from that skunky aroma coming out of that green bottle as soon as the cap comes off. Pours clear golden with a medium sized white head and good lacing
Aroma: All I get is skunky and some mild honey
Taste: Mild malts, grainy, honey and floral
Nice flavors, just have to drink it plugging your nose. I hate skunk smell in the road as much as in my beer.

Staropramen has a thick, off-white head and a clear, somewhat bubbly, golden appearance, with thin lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, biscuit and bready malt, with a touch of hop zing. Taste is of those elements, with a wonderful and dead-on hop bitterness rounding it out. Mouthfeel is light to medium and prickly, and Staropramen finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, dry, and delicious. Really, this is about as perfect as a beer can get, and I score it world class. This might be the best lager I’ve ever tried. Just fabulous! RJT

A bit more malty and floral in aroma then a typical pilse, but still mediocre. Appearance is like a domestic macro w/ a more solid head.. plenty of carbonation. Taste is OK... some metallic notes, malt and hay. Smooth. It’s decent.

January 2010. Bottle. This beer have its place, but maybe not in my fridge. Straw yellow with a white head. Malty and grainy flavors with little to be desired. Enjoy ice cold.

Bottle. Typical gold lager color and quite a lot of white foam that vaporates quickly. Smooth, some dry bite to it. Pretty plain taste with just some hints of malt to it. Slightly fruity, light carbonation. Taste doesn't last long.
All in all your typical lager, yet a fine example in that category. Nothing spectacular but it'll do the job.

Bouteille 500ml sous le nom de "Staropramen Premium". De couleur dorée dorée et claire. Nez de grains de malt pâle, léger de houblon floral et herbeux ainsi qu,avec des petites notes de miel, de fruits (agrumes et zeste) et de pain. Mince-moyenne en bouche et assez pétillante avec une texture légčrement huileuse. Goűt de grains de malt moyennement croustillants avec de faibles traces fruitées (agrumes) lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un léger goűt de pain ainsi qu’avec des notes de miel puis vient ensuite une légčre-moyenne amertume de houblon herbeux (foin) aux petites notes florales. Post-goűt moyen-court, légčrement amer de houblon herbeux aux notes florales avec des traces fruitées (zeste d’agrumes).

Purchased so the wife could have a shandy with fajitas. There’s a malty smoothness lurking here that I find appealing. Not as crisp as I’d like but perfectly reasonable. Burning Spear supplying the vibes. Cheers.
