Bottle - Pours a clear brown with amber highlights. Aromas of allspice and clove (pumpkin pie) somewhat artificial. Taste is muddles with some tartness, spice, caramel; itís all over the place, not for me.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Appearance: The body has a deep copper like amber color with good clarity. Itís head is small, white In color and fades slowly as I drink. Smell: There are some nice pumpkin pie spices coming through with a deep maltiness backing it up. Taste/Palate: I get really nice light coffee notes and a good malty base. It also has a nice balance of pumpkin pie spice. The palate has a firm feel with good carbonation. For me this is one of the more drinkable pumpkin beers. Everything is in very good balance.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very dark brown color with orange highlights and a large foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was malty nutmeg and clove. The flavor was bitter, roasty, and woody with nutmeg, clove and nuts. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

Comes out of the growler opaque chocolate brown with a thick and frothy tan head. Roast malt aroma has notes of cinnamon, pumpkin, and caramel. Flavor has pleasing malt, pumpkin, spice, and subtle caramel notes - a joy to drink! Texture is firm and smooth, if not too fizzy. Box one up - and leave the car at home, please.

12 oz bottle with a pkg date of 17 Sept 2014. Pours very dark brown, nearly opaque in my snifter, with a moderate size tan head that soon reduces to a ring. Aroma: not good right out of the bottle when notes of decayed vegetation were quite obvious, but these soon vanished leaving a spicy aroma with faint roasted grains. Flavor: a spiced (nutmeg and other pie spices), slightly mild porter with hints of pumpkin. Feel: near full body; medium carbonation that may be a tad higher than optimum.

Pours a deep hazy black brown on cask with thin tan head that leaves good lace. Aroma of pumpkin spice and dark roasty malts. Taste is pretty much all of the spice, no roast. Not too bad.

Bottle. Large head that quickly disappears and then not much after that. Clear, medium, dark brown in color. Aroma is the usual pumpkin pie spice but with notes of roasted grains. Taste is really disappointing. A little too much cinnamon not a nice balance in the spice and it was weird with the burnt grain, coffee flavor.

Not a very impressive beer. Has a nice pumkin aroma. Is a bit thin on the tongue and carbonation comes through almost more than anything. Little to no head. No pumkin past first drink. This is really subpar.
