Slightly hazy dark orange amber with a small head that completely disappears, no lace. Becomes so still, it looks like a glass of tea. The taste is malt with some ginger and bread notes, maybe a little mown field grass. Slight bittering at the finish. A pleasant but low-key brew; not memorable.

I tasted bread right off the bar. Not too bad but not the best selection from starr hill I've ever had

festie is a busy brew with flavors of fruit, malt and soapy hop in that order. the flavors are not substantial enough and tediously balanced. when the body softens some time after pouring the beer smooths out nicely but the flavors get lost. a decent session for any time and perhaps demonstrative for an O-fest.

Light copper Orange. Citrusy if anything. Sweetish and not bitter at all. Very light body, almost watery. Quick finish and no aftertaste, it just goes away. Decent, but unimpressive.

Pours a golden orange color with a thin white head. Aroma is weak and citrusy. Flavor tastes like amber malt extract with a background of dry grassy hops. Not amazing. Just tastes like an unimaginative homebrew. I expected better.

12oz can, $1.75 from Beer Run. Good, foamy, thin off-white khaki head. Clear amber color. A few bubbles on the side of the glass. Sweet maple-syrup malt aroma. Nice light smokiness. Good savory flavor, to complement the sweet - like candied bacon, a little bit. Lighter, but somewhat soft average carbonation. Dry finish. Taste is a reasonable balance of bitter, sweet, and light salty. Kind of just mediocre overall, but I like the intention behind this beer. A brew to be enjoyed at festivals. I imagine it’d serve that purpose well - light, refreshing, yet savory, sweet, and flavorful. Most importantly, available in cans.
