Grateful creates a fresh spin on the American Pale Ale tradition. A strong citrusy, resinous aroma from the American hops leads into a light body with subtle malt flavor. Grateful is a sessionable brew at 4.7% abv.

12oz. Pours lighter golden with a nice foamy white head. Aromas of light citrus rind, grass, and some floral notes. This is very light bodied and drinks very easy. Light hop presence with light grapfruit, grass, and some herbal notes. Decent at best but nothing to write home about....

bottle @ Beer Run / Charlottesville VA --- Clear medium orange-amber color, fluffy white head, dots and spots of lace. Aroma of pure malt. Taste is malt that is already bathing in light floral bittering. It adds carbonation on the swallow while the hops turn more piney, with the bitter covering the remainder of the way. A decent light brew.

Draft at Moriartys. Clear amber pour with an off-white foamy head. Earthy grassy hops backed with some medium-toasted malts. Gummy orange marmalade. Honey pumpernickel bread. Green tomatoes. Dank and herbal. Not really grateful for this one.

Light citrusy taste that hit the spot to cool down after some habenero peppers. Nice flavor. Pleasant appearance. Smooth drinkability with no strong aftertaste. Good beer overall. Worth a shot on a hot day.

Orangey copper, with a nice white head. Smells kinda caramel malty, then some citrusy hops. Taste is grassy citrus and some grapefruit, as well. Pretty straight forward and uncomplicated.

a pleasant american pale ale. Not as good as SNPA, or Stone. Perhaps I tired it to early in the season?

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- Had a mix of hops and citrus, pretty good smelling. Appearance- A clear yellow/orange with a small whitehead. Taste- Has that citrus note mixed with hops, and a small biscuit flavor tossed in. Palate- A light to medium bodied brew with medium carbonation. Overall- A good beer, I enjoyed it and would drink it again.

Pint on tap. Shiny and clear golden-orange with a creamy thin disc on top. Aroma is orange toffee, resin and toast. Flavors of orange toffee, toast, and minty herb. Light-medium body is a bit harsh in stretches but overall has a decent balance. Medium carbonation.
