Grateful creates a fresh spin on the American Pale Ale tradition. A strong citrusy, resinous aroma from the American hops leads into a light body with subtle malt flavor. Grateful is a sessionable brew at 4.7% abv.

12oz. Pours lighter golden with a nice foamy white head. Aromas of light citrus rind, grass, and some floral notes. This is very light bodied and drinks very easy. Light hop presence with light grapfruit, grass, and some herbal notes. Decent at best but nothing to write home about....

The hippy aesthetic of the marketing is a little cheesy. I wasnít expecting much from the brew, but found it up to snuff for it style. Pours a slightly hazy light burnt orange with white head. Scent is what really turned my head. Fresh citrus abounded. Flavor is the mild bite to mild sweet one expects from and APA. Good little beer. Wonít seek it out, but wonít turn it down. Bottle - Dakota Blue - Decatur, GA

Draft at the DC Craft Beer Festival. Poured a clear light golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was notes of pine and citrus, biscuit malt notes. Flavor was crisp and clean malts, with a nice amount of tropical and citrus fruits. Pretty enjoyable and easy to drink.

Comes out of the tap a clear amber with a thick and fine-bubbled pale buff head. Aroma is not strong, mainly fruity with a malty undertone. Malty and fruity flavor is a little stronger than the aroma, not complex but pleasing. Texture is creamy smooth, firm if not fiery fizzy. Iím grateful that I had the opportunity to try it.

Bottle from the mix 6 at beer run. Pours a light yellow color which is a little unusual. A touch more hops than your typical straight pale. Grassy and herbal still so pretty true there. Faint hop and light grain aroma. Finish has a little pepper spice to it. All you dead phish heads will go crazy for the name here bit it is lost on me. An ok drink either way.

Bottle shared by brew3crew. Poured clear amber hue with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate aroma of citrus hops and soft malt. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft. Well balanced flavor of hops and malt with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a soft drinkable brew.

12 oz bottle shared by brew3crew. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, mild citrus, grass lightly toasted bread. Some earthy notes, but this was fairly nondescript.
