Tallahassee, Fl. - Mellow Mushroom, 12 oz bottle. Dark copper pour, fluffy white head. Strong, fresh spruce aroma. Good bitter, citrusy grapefruit notes thickish mouthfeel with a hint of sting. Solid IPA.

Courtesy Drew sitting at the bar at Redlight. Copper gold, white carbonation. Drinks like an APA, decent, sessionable.

Draft, in Charlottesvile at The Boat House. Amber pour with thick creamy head, lacing to the bottom of the glass. Aroma citrusy-floral, lightly malty. Flavor bracingly bitter (in a very good way), caramel malt with solid citrusy-piney hop presence. Medium body, very satisfying. Solid IPA.

Tried a sample at Brewfest Tallahassee. One of their better, but I wasn’t impressed much by their stuff. A decent American hop presence in the aroma and flavor, but hopheads will be disappointed.

Nicely balanced AIPA aroma, with lots of sweet caramel, toast and pungent hops. Honey colored, foggy, with a big, beady head in a pint glass. Appearance ding for a bad label and a twist-off longneck. Citrus pith bitterness, drier than it smells. The foam is unpalatable, bitter and metallic, so let it sit. A little over medium bodied, but not too weighty. Long, kumquat/hop finish, that goes a little spritzy. Not bad. New Leaf Market.

On draft at Woody’s Smokes and Brews. Nice standard IPA. Very average but not in a bad way. Nothing that stands out for me.

Tap at Maggie’s Attic. Pours a nice amber color with a thick creamy head. Just a light citrus hop aroma. Some toffee, caramel malt with a nice bitter citrus hop taste. Good ipa.

Sampled at WBF in Durham. Poured an amber color with a white head. Nose is hoppy, citrusy and piney - everything you would expect from a good IPA. Nice bitter taste right off the bat with grapefruit and hops that stand right out - resinous pine and some floral notes finish it off. I enjoyed this offering much more than their Amber Ale I purchased a few weeks ago.
