3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to argo0: Pours a transparent bright golden brass with a spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasty pale malt and some juicy piny hops. Starts with good fullness and malty sweetness with a touch of caramel and a spruce/pine hop flavor before a drier, crisp bittersweet finish. A pretty good and drinkable IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Courtesy of dkachur. Pours clear copper with gold edges and off white head. The aroma is pine mixing with caramel, sweet malts and a bit of esters that smell like cherry candy. The taste is full with a malty sweetness mixing with pine hop flavor and then moving toward modest hop bitterness and a sense of dark tea. For an IPA the hops are a little too subtle but tasty brew nonetheless.

Bottle from argo0. Decent IPA, a bit more caramel/crystal than I like, but i dig thevery gentle carbonation and solid bitterness.

On tap at Nashville’s Music City Brew Festival, at least I think this is the beer. The tap just said Starr Hill IPA. Nice resinous hop profile, but a bit plane. Nice for the summer though.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample at Sam’s. Don’t really have much to say about it other than it’s a very typical American IPA with a very typical hop profile. Poured amber with smallish white head. It is what it is... and it is what many others are, too.

Amber pour with caramel and citrus in the aroma, lightly bitter flavor for an IPA, drinks smooth. Not bad overall.
