3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy orange, thin white head. Citrusy, peppery aroma. Nice clan palate. Flavor is hop-dominated, mostly grapefruit and a few herbal notes. Maybe a little smoky note in the finish.

Not much going on here. Aromas are subdued. Not much in the way of flavor. Bitter finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
So the site says 6.7% ABV, the description says 7.2% ABV, and the bottles says 5.8% ABV. Clear amber beer with a thin white head. A strong pine presence in the nose with a faint hint of citrus. Flavor is very piney as well but the body is a little thin, making this beer seem harsh. Citrus at the finish. Touch of caramel.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle courtesy of dkachur – thanks Dan! Pours a clear amber with a thick beige head that sticks around like an iceberg and that leaves nice lacing. The nose is malt and floral hops. The taste is malt, citrus hops and very light pine in the finish. Medium bodied. A little too malty for me without the hop bite I prefer for an IPA, but still a decent beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Taphouse in Hampton. Amber bodied. Short, dense white head. Nose is grapefruit, citrus oils, pine resin, caramel, and sweet malt. Some spicy notes as well. Taste is big citrus flavors (grapefruit and orange peel), light pine, chewy malts, touch of toffee and light spicy notes. Body is medium to medium-full. Carbonation is moderate. Ends with more citrus fruits and oils, pine needles, caramel, spicy hops and chewy malts. Rather tasty IPA!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Poured amber with a creamy off-white head that left good lace. Citrus aromas with an earthy and malt balance. The flavor changes it up with a big grapefruit citrus hop mixed with a malt background. Light to medium body and a medium bitterness throughout.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle thanks to LooseCannon. Hazed copper with a thick off white head. Nice lace. Nose is resiny and earthy, somewhat floral, sweet caramel. Does not seem to be the typical Cascade-hopped flavor, seems like there is more to it - citrusy and earthy, nice sweet caramel. Finishes with a somewhat sweet maltiness. I liked this quite a bit!

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle split with barrios at woody’s. Pours a clear orange with fair creamy khaki head. Aroma is a near perfect blend of citrusy piney floral hop goodness with just enough of a hidden honey note to round it out. However, after the great aroma, the flavor doesn’t quite hold up. Don’t get me wrong, this is still a wonderfull example of IPA, but the flavor is too lopsided with hop bittersweetness, for me to say this is truly a great beer. Resiny pine finish. Lingering bitterness. Awesome label art and a good price.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
medium brown with medium white head. mild hop nose. some crystal malt, but I would prefer more. a lot of hop bitterness that overshadows a decent hop flavor and aroma. a flawed but decent representation
