Bottle. Pours golden orange with a white head. Earthy and herbal hops, and sweet toffee malts. Not that good, or perhaps old.

12oz bottle in a plastic cup. Pours copper/brown with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and light floral hops plus some caramel and pale malts. Flavor about the same. Average texture. A decent IPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Purchased on my way thru DC to bring back home. Enjoyed this and wished I bought more. Nice floral aroma and balanced for bittering and sweetness. Light to medium body.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a golden-copper color with a light white head. Aroma is light, mostly floral hops with a bit of pine. Flavor is a bit more bitter than I expected. Mostly floral hops with an ever-so-slight munich malt sweetness. Solid.

draft at Capone’s. nose is weak with cascade hops and breadt ntes. first sip is pretty balanced but no flavors pop out. finish is not bad with mild cascade bitterness that lingers. meh

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice sticky hop aroma. Definitely falls on the fruity end of hop profiles, but goes well with the slightly sweet maltiness.

another underrated IPA. A bit lacking in aroma but has a huge cascade bitterness in the finish. Good stuff

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle, thanks to Andrew. Bottled 8/08/12. Thin khaki / off-white head. Clear amber color. Satisfactory lace. Tropical fruit, resiny pine, caramel malts, some metallic. Crisp lighter carbonation, dry finish, hoppy aftertaste. Quite bitter. Fine, but I feel like there’s something lacking to these hoppy Starr Hill brews. Fine, but doesn’t really stand out from the crowded field of IPAs for me. However, I tried this on draft at a local bar later and much preferred it to the bottled version
