3 oz draft sampler pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and malts. Taste is the malts and hops.

12 oz bottle. It pours a golden amber color with a small white, quickly vanishing head. I think I detect a very faint tropical fruit aroma. I taste some tropical fruit, pine and citrus flavors from the hops along with a slight hop bitterness. This is a nice enough beer but it’s nothing special. I probably wouldn’t but this one again.

Floral citrusy hops on the aroma. Really fresh smelling. It’s really hop forward which a plus for me. Lots of pleasant hop bitterness with a dry finish. I like it a lot. This is the first Starr HIll beer I’ve had and it was really good.

Pours a clear gold color with decent lacing and fair head retention. Tastes slightly bitter and malty, but nothing really stands out here. Pretty non- descript.

Pretty disappointing ipa. Not much hop aroma or taste. A nice malty pale ale but not an ipa other than maybe abv. Average pass. Nice fading head.

Orange pour, clear with white head. Bottle pour. Nice tropical and fruity flavor. Unusually not too bitter or hoppy for the style. Very drinkable.

Orange pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is caramel malt and citrus with a touch of resiny hops. Sweet caramel malt with a touch of citrus and some floral hops. Medium body with aggressive carbonation. ok beer by me

On draft. No appreciable aroma, but maybe that’s just where I am. Nice piney hops, caramel malts flavors. Dry finish.

Bottle. Pine, grassy hops notes, bitter finish. Not what I’d call an interesting IPA - it lacks nuance - but ok if those superior beers aren’t on the menu

Appearance: Very transparent bronze body with a fluffy white head that lingers and leaves quality lacing. Aroma: Nearly no aroma at all. There is a faint bit of citrus in there but I practically have to give my nose a bath in the beer to even pick it up. Taste: There is a mellow bitterness with an orange rind flavor to it followed by a sweet caramel flavor. Subsequent sips intensify the bitterness of the beer but not the flavor. Palate: It has a decent palate, bringing good bitterness and an off-dry mouthfeel. Overall: It was a fairly average tasting IPA. Nothing really stood out to me but nothing really detracted from the beer. It was not extremely fresh tasting but it didn’t taste old or stale. There was a good amount of bitterness but not a whole lot of flavor. I wouldn’t recommend the beer but I wouldn’t stop a person from drinking it either. I wouldn’t grab another bottle if I had something else to choose from.
