3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jsmerig (798) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 20, 2013
Pours a clear pale yellow with white head and active carbonation. Aroma similar to that of all standard European pils. Taste is sweeter than some others. Not as bitter or crisp in the finish. So so.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours clear golden with next to none head and hardly any carbonation. Aroma of yeast and grain maybe some hops and a little bit of sweetness from malts. Taste is consistent bready and sweet combined with a little bit of bitterness. Easy to drink and a perfect substitute to all the macro stuff.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 EithCubes (4198) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 8, 2013
Bottle. Nose sweet and floral with dusty malt that reminds of corn. Very pale clear yellow body with a fizzy white head. Taste is firmly bitter with the feel of very hard water, some mild astringency which levels off and cedes tract to floral and even lightly bready notes. Dusty full body. A little dirty, but not terrible.
3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 tvazteca (18) - Brighton, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 28, 2012
Alot about this beer disappoints. It doesn’t have a strong Hop (saaz) aroma that I love from my Pils. It’s not pretty at all. It’s a little heavy on the Carbonation. But in all honestly, it drinks so excellently. The taste is crisp and refreshing and it leaves a nice hop bitter aftertaste. Approved!

Location: Draft at Capital Ale-Innsbrook, 11/21/12
Aroma: The nose is malty, with some cereal/grains, some grass, spice, and a little fruit
Appearance: This one pours a golden color with small white head and some light lace
Flavor: The taste is similar to the nose, but the malts and hops are a little more crisp and clean
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a clean/crisp mouthfeel, and a lightly dry finish
Overall Impression:
Between visiting a few Breweries/Brewpubs and making an effort to drink local, I managed to make this one my 25th VA rating of my Thanksgiving visit to my original stomping grounds, increasing my VA ratings to over 80. The local RVA (and the rest of the VA) beer scene has really improved from the days of Legend Brown and not much else. As for the beer, I thought this was a decent Pils, but it wasn’t a whole lot more than that.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 essexcalf (170) - Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 7, 2012
Bottle brought back from the US, by a friend. 12 fluid ounces. Clear, light straw yellow. No head, just a few clumps of bubbles. Moderate carbonation. Aroma - Typical pilsner, but with some unusually fragrant, floral and lightly citrussy hops. Clean, light, lagery malt. Lightlly yeasty. Taste - As expected from aroma. Typical lager, but hoppier than usual and with more (dry) citrussy flavours. Light bitterness. Slightly dry finish, with some light noble hop aromas lingering. Medium-light body. Crisp, clean, refreshing. A decent lager, with some good hop flavours.
