Bottle. Pours a clear light gold with a moderate white head. Smells a little skunky to me. Tastes like a boring lager. Not much to say about it.

Sampled from the tap at Nashville Flying Saucer. Pours a clear light yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has light grain with a hint of sweetness and crisp hops. Flavor is a bit thin with earthy sweet grain and earthy grass.

12oz bottle, thanks to Andrew. Bottled 5/21/12. Clear yellow color. Thin white head. Some ropes and dots of lace. Nice, crisp lighter carbonation. Tasty peppercorn aroma. Lightly spicy hops, some multigrain malts. Definitely a spice - leaning pils, but I don’t mind that. Nice light bitter taste. Very satisfying. Would recommend. Didn’t care for the DIPA, but these Starr Hill guys make a nice pils.

12 oz. bottle, gift from Bierkonijn, thanks Jan! Clear pale golden color. White head with not much retention. Aroma’s of grass, grain, malty sweetness. Flavor has malty sweetness with hints of grassy hops. Light bodied. Just a hint of bitterness in the finish, could have used a bit more of a hop-bite. Decent pilsener though.

Look of clear straw yellow pour with a ring of white head, sweet light noble hop and some corn.

Bottle from Wine Sellar. Pours gold with 2-finger white head. Nose is honey, hopcitrus. Tastes of pale malt, Saaz hops, citrus fruit, with a crisp finish.

The aroma is standard latex - hay hops with a corn like malt and exactly to style. The appearance is golden with a clumpy head. The taste is like the aroma and yummy, The palate is average. Overall a perfect example of the style.

Draft. This was tatsed at The REpublic Bar in Richmond. The pils was clear light yellow almost like a wine. Very small head that disappeared with not even a white collar. There was some citrus on the nose and taste. This is a very plain beer. Carbonation was soft and somewhat disappointing. Finish was pleasant with some bitterness.

Draft. Deep yellow body with a frothy, white head. Aroma of roasted grain, light skunk, vegetables, noble hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. The sweetness, rather than the hops, linger. Some grassy tastes. Unremarkable.
