Hoppy and crisp, with a light palate and some malt. Fairly forgettable, but a nice summer companion pils. None of the cardboard mustiness of more-poorly-made pilsner.

12 oz bottle pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, grain and a bit of citrus. Taste is malt and more bitterness then I expected.

Giant : Pours golden with small head. Aroma is German hops, grass, and a hint o skunks. Taste is bitter, and the bitterness is sustained throughout. Nice and crisp. This was way better than I thought it would be.

On tap @ Specific Gravity, Salisbury Md-Yellow pour with a thin white head. Grainy, grassy aroma. Sweet flavor, some grass, grain, biscuit, a slight hop bite. Smooth, easy drinkin’ brew, not real complex. Good "Macro Transition" or Lawnmower beer.

Elwood (2493) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - APR 15, 2012
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegman’s Leesburg. It pours a pale gold with a small, white head. The nose is a bit of euro lager with some light noble hops and a touch of skunk. The flavor had a sharp metallic note up front followed by a touch of grain and dull, noble hops. Just disappointing. Light in body with average carbonation leading to a lingering bitter finish. Just not a very good attempt. Pass on this brew.

Bright yellow, with a thin white head. Grainy, grassy hop aroma. Nicely sweet at first, then grass, biscuit, and a nice crisp hop bite. I think I’ve gotten hung up on the word "grassy" as a descriptor. I never used t use it, but now I say it all the time. Weird.

Not a fan here. True to its description as a german pils but searching for something to keep my interest in this beer. D+.

RABinVA (685) - Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA - MAR 22, 2012
No aroma, at least nothing that smells like beer. Appearance gets a 5 because, well, it looks like a pilsner (you know...straw/urine?) Hits with a crisp, light, refreshing but nothing sticks around for long.

Butters (3321) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAR 17, 2012
Sampled at the Irish Hanukkah Tasting. Clear straw yellow pour with ring of white head. Semi sweet light noble hop and corn. Flavor is buttery and semi bitter old noble hop flavor. Corniness goes away on the flavor. lingering aftertaste of bittnerness. Nothing special here, and a little much diacetyl maybe.

Pilsner glass from bottle. A: very very poor aroma, virtually no smell. App: light golden color, lacy head that disperses quickly. T: almost like water up front, with a hoppy back. P: bubbly and mostly smooth.
