Bottle. Pours a clear copper color. Light, malty aroma. Light, tarty taste with some hops and malt. Nothing too spectacular though. Definitely needs some more punch.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. The beer has aroma of wet grass, and some spice. The color is golden with a white head. Taste is below average, not really my think. Lagerlike tastes that are slightly spicy. The beer is thick like a lager. Overall, not impressed, would not buy again.

I like the label a lot but I’m not in love with the beer. The attack is kin of musty. It tastes kind of bloated in the body. Not in love with this beer at all. Cool label.

This is sweeter than I normally like, but it is alright. I don’t know why the sweetness doesn’t bother me. I can’t really smell much because I was sick and my nose is still a bit stuffy. Appearance is standard and non-exciting. I don’t taste any fire?

Chef Geoff’s, DC tap ($7): Pours a light copper color with a white head. Aroma is a little spicy, with sweet malts at the forefront, and even a little boozy note. The beer is rather sweet, but not as cloying and annoying as some of the other people are making it out to be. Strange bready notes (don’t know how else to describe them). There actually is a counterbalancing hops presence, which doesn’t really mitigate the sweetness of the beer. Not that bad. Drinkable, a bit strange, and nothing really all that special.
