COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Love is an unfiltered wheat beer, also known as a hefeweizen. It is distinguished by its extremely light body and flavored with hints of banana and clove. A slice of lemon can complement this refreshing brew.

Rated on 3-27-2011 (Bottle purchased at Total Wine & More-Ft. Myers, FL) This bottled beer pours a very, very small fizzy white head with a lengthy retention, opaque body, and one ring of lacing. The aromas are wheat, yeast, lemony, bananas, spicy, and clove. The taste is sweet, clove, bananas, wheat, citrus, lemon, and clean tasting. The mouthfeel is mildly tingly carbonation, and this beer is medium bodied. This is a session beer and an adequate beer on a hot, humid day.

Aroma of cloves and banana’s, pale yellow slightly cloudy with a small well laced head. Taste of bananas with a hint of clove. A watery short lasting palate of spice.

Pours a hazy honey olden with a nice ivory head. Aroma is mainly fruity - banana, orange and lemon - with a wheaty underpinning. Wheaty flavor has citrus, banana and subtle yeasty notes, as well as an odd metallic tang. Texture is fairly fizzy and firm, but that metal edge haunts the finish. Still, feel he love!

Draft in Alexandria. Poured fizzy orange yellow. Some bananas cloves etc. Passable hefe.

Bottle, twist off, packaged on 09/05/13. Nose is stale, just yeast gone bad, rubbery and seemingly autolytic. Pours orange-golden with an ephemeral oily off-white head. Taste isn’t as bad, lemon and sweet malt, sweet without real bitterness, and oily but somewhat malty full body, lighter carbonation with too-hot jammy/fruity esters -- too-hot fermentation? The end result is still really dirty and this batch maybe shouldn’t have been released, but it’s probably fine as a fourth or fifth beer of the night. Just not a good idea for introducing newbies to the style.

Not much of an aroma - somewhat sweet (bubblegummy); clear with a thin head; sweet taste; thin and really fizzy (high carbonation) - overall a light, sweet and fruity wheat beer - not as drinkable as some (I would have to switch after 2 or 3 to something more bitter). I’ll take a free one but I probably won’t buy this again
