COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Love is an unfiltered wheat beer, also known as a hefeweizen. It is distinguished by its extremely light body and flavored with hints of banana and clove. A slice of lemon can complement this refreshing brew.

Pours a pinkish orange...cloudy. Head quickly dissipated. No lacing. Aroma is very sweet...vaguely of circus peanut candy... smells artificial. Taste is basically what a hefeweizen should taste like but too sweet...and artificial. Clean finish. Passable, but there are many better hefeweizens out there.

Keg pour during Annapolis 5K beer run. Pours hazy gold with a pretty typical wheat beer aroma. Flavor was somewhat disappointing. Had the expected banana, clove, and bread notes but also had some off sour flavors, nothing too bad though.

Bottle. Poured a hazy golden with some sediment at the bottom and a white top that completely dissipated. Taste of dough, clove, tropical fruits, weird medicine aftertaste. Medium carbonation and too watery on the palate. I’ve had far better hefeweizens

Wife got this at Dan’s Tap House in Boonsboro, MD. Served in a pint glass, hazy dark yellow color with white head. Aroma of wheat malt with notes of clove, banana and other fruity notes. Taste is much like the aroma, slightly bitter and some sourness. Light body, high carbonation, refreshing. No lemon wedge includes but was pretty tasty.

UPDATED: MAR 11, 2013 Tangy. Poured from 12oz bottle into Starr Hill pint glass (because I could). Cloudy amber with somewhat persistent eggshell foam. High carbonation. Citrus tang with banana nose. Thin on the palate.

Not a bad little Hefe. Not outstanding, but not bad. Pours a clear, dark yellow with about two fingers of head that fades quickly. Bananas and tangerine in the aroma, and more of that in the flavor, with a slight, buttery malt.

Pours a hazy pale-gold with a minimal white head. Smells of banana, moderate clove, bit of vitamins smell. Taste is sweet, bitter, and lightly sour - banana, wheat spices, mild clove - almost no noticeable hops.

The menu described the taste as having a hint of banana and cloves. Normally I drink franziskaner hefe but the waitress recommended this as an alternative. It was a great call because this beer is excellent. Not too strong on either prominent flavor but just enough to give it a distinct and smooth taste. I’d love for my bar to put this on tap.

Poured from 12 oz. bottle. Hazy, bright gold with 1-finger cream colored head and good lacing. Intense aroma of wheat and lemon, yeast and sour apples. There may be some spice and banana in there, but they are pretty well overwhelmed. Taste of cloves, banana, earthy yeast, wheat, sour apple and a little citrus. A little bitter, a little sour at the finish and a little off-putting. Medium body and high carbonation. I did not find this wheat beer refreshing. The aroma and flavor were more interesting than enjoyable. This beer may be too intense for the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled on 10/12/2012 at GABF. This German Hefeweizen pours a light gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, with a lot of banana and clove. A medium bodied hefeweizen. The malts are fruity and sweet, banana and clove, some hair spray. The hops are herbal. Decent carbonation. Overall way to sweet, and way too phenolic. More banana and clove at the finish. Just way too much banana. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

Draught. Pours gold-amber color with very little head to it. Very strong banana notes to this - so much so that I couldn’t really get any other flavor. Meh.
