2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle, dense bubbley head, clear deep brown colour, aroma of maltzbeer and a touch of cinamon, flavour of maltzbeer and dark bread, much too sweet but also feels diluted. Bad.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Dark brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and caramel, subtle chocolate and strong metallic notes. Mostly sweet taste is similar with additional notes of raisins and burnt sugar. Medium body and strong carbonation. Not bad, but too sweet for my taste, really like a strong kvass, as others raters have already noted.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Very dark brown with a nice firm beige head. Aroma has light roastiness, toasted dark bread, caramel and light nutty notes. Pretty sweet malty flavor, caramelly, a bit sugary, with dark bread and faint roastiness. Finishes slightly drier but with some lingering sweetness in the background. Light to medium-bodied. Too sweet but kinda OK.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
500ml bottle - gift from Marduk - thanks.
Slightly dirty dark lager aroma, touch of caramel. Dark red, spongy off-white head. Thirstyrabbit has nailed this - this is just made from the typical kali/kvas malt extract. Not sugary sweet, but definitely pretty sweet. Palate isn’t as sugary, for example, it’s quite watery, and with plenty of carbonation. Some raisininess with that malt extracty caramel. Has some strange dirty bitterness too - like you’ve got a stalk on your raisins. Touch papery bitter finish. Unsatisfying, and feels cheep. But drinkable, that’s for sure. The 6.5% was much better indeed.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Dark brown body, medium head. Sweet raisiny aroma with some cardboard. Sweet raisiny taste with some artificial sweetness. This is basically a strong Kvass. However, the finish is a bit papery. I bet the 6.5% version was better.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle. Clear dark copper color. Medium size brownish head, stays. Malty and caramel in aroma. Very weak aroma. Sweet, chocolate, metallic and malty flavor. Nice, but less sweetness would be even better.
