Bottled. Many thanks to Gurthnar! Aroma minimal of roasted malt. Taste is superb! Dried plums! My favorite dried fruit! Love it! It is a eurolager type of flavored water, I know, but damn it tastes great! :D

50cl screw-top bottle. Rather fresh. Unfortunately, they now call it a beer-drink, not a beer. It has quite some additives to it: coloring agent, pasteurizers, sweeteners etc. A big disappointment for me. I used to like Stary Melnik selection, but I can not say that now. I would advise you not to purchase more than 1 bottle. For me, this drink was on of the worst drinks I had this year.

50cl bottle at Svevan (road cafe) near Tallinn. Pours very dark with an off-white head. Mild malty aroma with caramel, dark fruits and hint of roasted malt. Quite sweet but still fairly balanced. Easy drinkable and went well with the food.

bottle, delivered by pivnizub! Deep brown colour, mid-sized beige head. Aroma of roasted malts and chocolate. Medium-bodied, malty base with chocolate and caramel, hits of coffee. Lingering chocolatey finish. Much better than expected.

Bottle:Deep ruby-amber coloured, stable and lacy off-white head, sweetish toasty-roasty nose, some malty bitterness in the background; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, but quite soft; sweet toasty-malty finish, ending with a delicate bitterness. Surprise, a decent Dunkel, better than expected...

50cl bottle thanks to onkelgobber. Pours dark brown with a red hue - a thin head. The nose has honey and gingerbread, going into Madeira. The taste has more of the cake notes with a nice cinnamon and rum note that stays with you. The palate is balanced with a medium body and texture. Overall, a decent beer for scooping.
