Bottle:Deep ruby-amber coloured, stable and lacy off-white head, sweetish toasty-roasty nose, some malty bitterness in the background; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, but quite soft; sweet toasty-malty finish, ending with a delicate bitterness. Surprise, a decent Dunkel, better than expected...

50cl bottle thanks to onkelgobber. Pours dark brown with a red hue - a thin head. The nose has honey and gingerbread, going into Madeira. The taste has more of the cake notes with a nice cinnamon and rum note that stays with you. The palate is balanced with a medium body and texture. Overall, a decent beer for scooping.

Black, untransparent with red reflexes color. Beige small rapidly falling head becomes a foam. Medium body, oily, short sweet finish. Aroma: Sweet, malty, bready, caramel, brown sugar, a pinch of roasted malts. Taste: Medium to high sweetness, brown sugar. Average but definitely too sweet dunkel without any bitterness.
