Ungstrup (11154), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 29, 2005 A light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sour from brewing cereal, while the flavor is primarily sweet malty, but the body is thin. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 6, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Pale golden with a small, white head. Weak, malty nose. Medium body mainly dominated by alcohol. Lightly bitter, dry finish. 030206 sk8viking (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark Apr 3, 2005 Bottle. Clere golden colour with a small white head. Light sweet sour malty aroma and a sweet taste. Medium body and a sweet finish. TBone (4976), Pori, Finland Feb 5, 2005 Bottled (brewed 17.10.2004)
Clear yellow color with decent white head. Aroma is malty and metallic. Basic malty lager flavor but this has some grassy hoppy notes. Harsh finish. Clean and drinkable but plain. JorisPPattyn (4282), Antwerpen, Belgium Oct 20, 2006 Whitish head, fast reduced to rim with shards of lace, over golden beer. Chalk, some sweet malts, milk-ripe grain. Bit of toasted malts, pale malts and a sweetish hint at corn. Again a beer where taste is notoriously absent (the hops must have missed my bottle). Patisserie sweetness, diluted with mineral water - and a drop of two of alcohol: more sweet. Light bodied, a bit grist slickness, and alcohol hints in the finish. Pff. I cannot understand they won’t make something really "strong balanced", not to mention strong hearty for their Siberian winters...
