courtesy of Allen - clear and bright golden colour, giant white foam, aroma of caramel, oranges and alcohol/solvant; sweet and slightly oily, good malt body; leaves an aftertaste of burnt caramel and pear - acceptable

faroeviking (10284) - FAROE ISLANDS - DEC 17, 2008
Long neck half liter bottle with four deep lines at the back for grapping it well..... guess this beer is not really means to be poured in a glass. Clear golden colour. Alco bitter sweetish aroma. Fair mouthfeel. The flavour is grainy and alcoholic with a sweet bitterness. Get-drunk-quick-nasty-brew.

Embrouille (2831) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 1, 2008
Bottled 50cl. Poor appearance. Metallic malty nose. Bready. Malty flavor. Syrupy. Low bitterness. Metallic. Rather pleasant and drinkable for a european strong lager.

Similar like the svetloe, but it is more syrupy. Aroma and flavor is buttery and very sweet. Some grains without any hop. Very sweet, too sweet. Like a malt extract...

RBESG2008: 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and pale yellow with a collapsing white. Light cornish and bitter aroma. Flavour is sweet cornish and with a light bitterness coming through to the finish. Ends with a light acidic touch and a mild bitterness.

RBESG08 grand tasting 2008. Pale gold. That’s a pretty bad beer. No great flavour, thin and uninteresting.

guzzler67 (1569) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - JUL 13, 2008
Clear gold appearance with medium size white head and a small amount of lacing. Cabbage and corn aroma only slightly offset by caramel malts. Sweet, tinny malt taste that turns more vegetal as it warms. Understated hop presence. Finish lingers longer than one may want. This, and other Stary Melnik beers, (if you really want them) available in MD at the Perfect Pour.
