brought back from Russia by Rutzicka’s parents - clear pale golden colour, very slightly hazy, fine stable head, fine fruity hoppiness in the nose (apricot comes to mind), also some notes of corn; a correct malt body and a respectable tart bitterness; an herbal touch and more fruity notes in a pleasant finish

Not mucho to say about it. But it ws a nice surprise to find out these Russian beers have their own signature in barley’s taste. Quite creamy too.

Bottle. Pale golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is yeasty and dry, and the flavour is fruity, dry and yeasty. Overall an average yeasty and dry pale lager.

Sweet malty lager. Smooth textured golden body. Moderate-low hop aroma. Little corny and grainy with small amount of fruitiness. Fine alcohol taste. Soft carbonated. Easy drinkable.

Kita (1044) - Koper, SLOVENIA - SEP 8, 2013
Bottled, 0.50l. Clear golden color with large frothy white head, virually no carbonation and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of moderate malt, mild caramel, fresh hay, dandelion and maple syrup. Taste starts with heavy malty sweetness, followed by hints of wooden cask, finished with kight bitterness, while overall still pretty bland. Light body, syrupy texture and flat carbonation in palate. This one tastes like malt cordial, but diluted with not enough water...

Golden good old standard lager that really refreshes both palate and mind a hot day at Kievski Vokzal.

Test vom 28.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,8,8,11,7,9 - 9,00

Just yellow-tinted dense head, leaving some lace over straw-golden beer. Initially creamy, then dry malty nose, rather volatile aromas. Very dry-grainy taste, honeyish and a whiff of raspberry with a bitterish finish. It’s a bit dull, a bit simple, but it has a very decent balance. This is better than expected from such a source. Unfortunately, after some warming up, the grain proves oxydized, and probably from last years’ USA imports. Light, bit spritzy. As said, better than expected.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pilsener golden with a creamy, white head. Malty nose. Rather dry body dominated by bittering hops. Actually reminds me of a solid German pilsener. 171205
