Bottle; thanks to Beermerchants Off-white lacing, qucikly diminishes, yellow-bronze colour, aroma is pears, candi sugar, tarty. taste is pears, some nice fruity refreshing bite, quite overtly carbonated, balance is ok, smooth on the palate but not too exciting, struggling to describe this but an easy drinking every day cider.

Pale colour, minimal head. Aroma a bit like half-sweet white wine, a bit peer. Medium sweetness. Lacks some complexity and something to make it outstanding, but still it’s quite a nice cider.

Bottled. Pale yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is rather artificial sweet apple and pear along with some slight vinegary notes. Flavour is similar. Not a very pleasant "Perry".

ALLOVATE (2349) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - DEC 1, 2010
Mild, slightly dank pear nose, woody and mildly spicy and warming hinting at ethanol. Pours vibrant, a very audible orchestra of bubbles raise violently to the top in continuous streams. I think this Perry will burn my taste buds off with its effervescence!!! A good unwooded chardonnay for colour and dazzlingly bright. Oddly dull in the mouth, held down by a gamminess of fruit flavour that isn’t overly sweet but is clear that it needs to be chilled to be fully enjoyed. Body is light, the pear flavours are there with its woody edge present on the palate. Finish has a sweetness to it, full of clean fruit that is pleasant and masks the strength well. Very straight down the line, one dimensional stuff. An easy to drink Perry with no real character! (33cL, BBE 12/10, First Choice Liquor)

Bottle, bought @ Beermerchants.com.
Pours pale golden with a small, fairly staying, bubbly, white head. Aroma has light sweet pear, some notes of boiled potato, light green apple zest. High carbonation, a bit watery palate. Flavour is sweet, some salty tartness, light candy. Fair dryness with a bit of astringency.Light warming in the finish.

ComradeK (988) - The Vale of Dundas, AUSTRALIA - JUL 18, 2010
UPDATED: FEB 22, 2012 330ml bottle. Pours a clear straw yellow, with no head, but lasting carbonation. It has a pleasing floral aroma, with ripe pear and vanilla notes, in typical perry fashion. The initial flavour is a mixture of pear and slight alcohol, with a nice level of acidity. Vanilla dominates the mid-palate, moving into a truly delightful fruity pear finish. Excellent perry indeed.

25 cl bottle. 5.4 ABV. Didnt sya "over Ice" on the bottle. Is this a new Perry? Yellow colour. Nice perry aroma and flavor. Average dry finish. Not sweet. Oily palate. Nice perry.
