Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland 28/02/14. Hazed orange amber with a well appointed off white head. Nose is citric peel, bitter orange, grassy, light soap, toasty maltings. Taste comprises orange pith, a little more soap, straw, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Too soapy, poorest beer I’ve had from these guys, still palatable but would be hard work on a full bottle I imagine!

Bottle. An unclear, orange-golden beer with a creamy, off-white head. Yeasty, malty aroma with a biscuity touch. Fruity notes. The flavor has the same boring yeasty and malty thing found in the aroma. Some bitterness towards the finish. Medium to full body, semi-dry and with a very soft carbonation. Short finish. Well, not very interestingor nice this one. 140228
