3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very much a pale lager only with a little more robust. Decent maltiness, good for lager enough to be called Premium Lager.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sitting at the airport bar and came across quite a surprise...pours a medium gold, slightly cloudy... Aroma is light gives off nice pilsner aroma but good, light hops, wheat fresh...taste is sweet, light hop easy to drink.
A excellent euro sessioanl that’s easy to drink and a hundred times better than an american macro.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
The aroma is slightly sweet and malty with a light grassy hop and a touch of cardboard. The appearance is gold with almost no head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall it’s pretty typical for the style from eastern Europe but not as poor quality.

This crap was absolutely horrible. Pours piss yellow with a big foamy, white head. Smells like a wet dog and tastes like formeldehyde. I wouldn’t serve this to a rabid racoon.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A big white head tops a pale light golden and crystal clear brew. The importer calls this a "Polish Pils" but it seems a lot like your typical pale lager to me.
Polish lagers are among the top of the Euro pale lagers. This one is no exception in the smell department. Strong floral noble hops meld with light malt to provide nice balance. There is a bit of sweetness in there as well.
The flavor is mild, with the hops and malt in balance, with some typical Polish sweetness.
THe mouthfeel is kind of week but it works with the flavors. This is a good summer session beer and not bad at 12.00$ for a 12 pack.
I’m not sure who brews this but it is Stawski beer, yet it is imported by Stawski imports, which appears to be an American company as the owner is Stanley Stawski. It is a mysterious brew but if you see it it’s not bad for the price. My best bet would be Zywiec for the brewer of this one.

16.9oz bottle. Orange tan, filtered. Cheap Euro macro lager aroma, sugary and sweet, park swill at best. Almost approaching drinkable and sessionable, I guess I can see digging it in Poland. Watery, hollow mouthfeel almost makes it inoffensive. Drinkable, but completely unimpressive.

My bottle seems a bit old, like many pale lagers I get from this part of the world. Taste is something like an old cheaper american malt liquor. I think I’m losing my taste for pale lager? A little crude on the finish. Definately beer!

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Tasted from a 11.2 oz bottle purchased in Fort Collins, Colorado. Pours a pale yellow with a hint of orange appearance with slightly orange/white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Kind of a nasty skunky pale malty aroma. Thin body that’s again mostly pale malts that are nasty and skunky. Skunky finish. Crappy beer.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is the third of three Stawski brews I have tried and the best of them by a landslide. It’s a nice clear golden color, small head of fine white bubbles w/ attractive webs of lace. The nose here is mild and hoppy--earth, grass and even a very faint hint of lemony citrus. Only a hint of sweetness in the flavor and it is well matched by bitterness. The carbonation is fine and vigorous making for a very nice, light and drinkable beer. This is very well put together and a definite cut above the standard polish macro(?) lager.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2010 I have had a bottle of this one sitting in the fridge for months, I was just too lazy to add as I never did get a response on brewer information from the distributor. A bright dark gold, nearly amber colored body with topped with a nice eggshell white head. the nose is initially grainy and vegetable like with some potatoes. There is also a little bit of hay. The taste has some light notes of celery and grass. There is also some corn flake in the finish. There is also a nice pleasing black pepper like bite in the back end. Overall, this is pleasant and light, especially on the nose.
