On tap into pint glass(I guess ?). Toronto. Pale yellow in color. Very little head. Aroma of hay, a touch yeasty. Faint alcohol. Taste is mildly sweet. Fairly clean. Palate is thin no texture. Short finish

500ml can brought back from Toronto from Rob and Karen. Packaged in July, drank in January. Pretty disgusting aroma. Solid appearance, but that is its only good attribute at this point. Drainpour.

Light aroma of cereal. Small, mostly diminishing, off white head. Virtual no lacing. Clear, sparkling, light yellow pour. Slightly sweet, flavour. Light, crisp body. Dry texture and soft carbonation. Cheers!

Draft pour at the source. Pours a clear gold with a white head of foam. Good retention. The aroma has grassy, herbal, and breach notes. Some cracker notes as well. The taste is a touch bitter and grassy. Light body, crisp finish, medium carbonation.

At a pub on college street on New year’s eve from 2014 to 2015. Less Hoppy. Smooth. Citrus. No body. Tasteineral. The taste lingers a little bit, and good. Sweet.

Quelconque, peu goûteuse, buvable sans grand intérêt. Bouteille bue quelque part à Toronto, Canada, courant mai 2013.

Damn you Bellwoods and indie, and the whole country of Belgium, and Block 3 and well, all of you amazing craft brew places, you’ve ruined me for work Christmas parties. The beers that seemed alright to me just a few years back just, well, suck now. I struggle over the limited selection of Stella, Bud Light, Guinness, Keith’s IPnAy, and Steam Whistle. And those choices seem grim. The Steam Whistle which pours a clear slightly orange gold with a thin white head seems sad. And really it’s not a bad beer. Smells like hay malts and syrup, and defeat. Tastes like sharp hay malty failed-effort. All I think about is Farmageddon, and New Tomorrow. How can I function at places like Kelsey’s? Guess that’s why I’m not the RB Mayor there.

Seems to be the main Toronto alternative to macro lagers. Grainy aroma, biscuit malt, wheat, brioche, touch of honey, fairly clean finish. Not bad, a pretty quaffable pils/helles.

Appearance is medium white head with clear yellow color. Aroma is sweet. Taste is light and malty. Overall the style doesn’t wow me, but it’s a good example of it.

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2015 341ml bottle from The Only Cafe. Relatively thin head for a pilsner. Aroma is grain, biscuit, buttered popcorn notes. Some malty sweetness.
