Grainy, grassy, somewhat husky malty, light honey aroma. Honey, very light vanilla, sweet grainy, pale malty, straw flavor. Fairly sweet but not entirely unenjoyable.

Very easy drinking ..... As a kolsch should be. No noticeable off flavors. Super clear with a nice straw color. Same price as Coors banquet on draft. Great choice for an all day drinker.

Poured out of a bottle into a cup. Very light golden color. Head was initially large and dissipated while it was drank. Very smooth to drink.

Clear straw with a good head that leaves quickly. Funky aroma characteristic of some lager yeasts. Taste is predominantly hop bitterness though there is a bit of sweetness at the start. Fairly crisp finish.

12 ounce can. Pours a pale yellow with a two inch white head that fades quickly. Taste is of grain, grass, malt, caramel, some hops, some citrus and some pine. Similar, but rather clean aroma. Has a decent body. A satisfying summer beer.

Was not very impressed. Weak malt character, flat hops, and a dry grassy flavor to this one that just didn’t do it for me. Comes across more "bland" than "subtle". My can was fairly fresh (my notes say it was about 12 days old), but it tasted like it had been on the shelf for six months.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 IlBevitorediLA (451) - ITALY - FEB 27, 2013

Can. Pretty blah beer. I am not a big fan of the style to begin with and this one really lets it down.

Very drinkable. A good, middle of the road kolsch with a great appearance.

On draft at Euclid Hall. Pours a clear yellow-gold with a white head. Nose is some light malt and grassy hops with some sweet and fruity malt character as well. Flavor yields sweet malts and grassy hops with bits of floral notes in there as well. Not a kolsch, but for an American take on the style, it’s pretty nice.
