I dig the dark ruby colour. Not too much pumpkin smell. More spices that anything. Nutmeg. Cinnamon. Vanilla. Taste is more of the same spices, with upfront bland malt. Overall, decent taste, but not much body.

In bottle; enjoyed this one .. nice auburn/dark larger with balanced mix of spice and pumpkin. Probably the best after Beef Eater

Deep amber red pour with a fluffy off white head. Aroma is sweet with pumpkin pie spice, raisins, toast. Medium bodied, creamy. Sweet-ish malt profile with ginger standing out the most and lingering on the finish along with a bit of a bitter bite. Okay.

22. Thanks r! Pours a burnished crystal clear dark amber. Rich caramel and pie spice nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Rich caramelly pie like mid palate despite a fairly average body weight. Mild caramel finish.

Tap@steamworks brewery. Dark mahogany. Slight haze. Intens cinnamon. Some complex wooden flavours from the pure. Strange perfumed brew.

Visual: Beautiful artwork printed on the bottle; it shows care and pride even for short-term seasonal brew, kudos. Pours dark copper-reddish with a nice-sized foamy head, a bit of lacing, thin layer of retention, lots of fast activity. Nose: brown sugar malts with some metallic notes. Cinnamon and caramel as well. (6)aromatic strength Attack: creamy-fizzy mouthfeel, malty (7)sweetness Mid-palate: (MAIN) brown sugar malts, ginger dryness, cinnamon, pumpkin (3)saltiness Finish: (2)ginger spiciness, residual sugars, malty pumpkin spiced light (3)bitter hopped finish. Summary: I like this more than the GI Pumpkining I had yesterday. Better packaging, visually, more character and depth, however it’s astringent with the dominant dry ginger bitterness. (Note: all numbers above are on a 10-point scale, with 1 being weak and 10 being the strongest)

[5070-20130118] 650L bottle. Sweetened vegetal pumpkin pie aroma. Clear, red body with a quick creamy off-white head. Nutmeggy pumpkin pie crust flavour. Medium body. Fairly rough but a nice balance of pie crust and fruity grains. (7/3+/7/3/14) 3.4

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a clear reddish brown with a small, creamy off-white head. Burned caramel and subtle cinnamon in the nose. Medium body, burned caramel, chocolate – spices with cinnamon and cloves sticking out. A light bitterness. A decent and never overdone Pumpkin Ale. 230213
