Brown color with medium sized compact head. Strong aroma of overripe fruits, sweet, some cookies, and luckily no cinnamon. The mouthfeel is rather dry; good flavor of caramel with light fruity side and delicate cinnamon and nutmeg. Correct bitterness; caramellish final.
Thanks for dosing the cinnamon! This is a very good biscuity example.

On tap @ Steamworks. Dark amber pour with a khaki head. Nose is big on the pie spices. A lot of nutmeg and all spice. Some caramel, vanilla, and a hint of marshmallow. Slight toasted nut aroma. Sweet tasting beer, not surprisingly. A lot of caramel and nuts. Toasted bread, some nutmeg, cinnamon, and all spice. A hint of ginger and vanilla. Subtle earthiness. Kind of a typical pumpkin beer...not bad.

Draft served in an imperial pint glass at the brewpub in downtown Vancouver. Pours a deep, clear amber with a small off-white head that settles into nothing after about 10 minutes. Aroma of toasted malts, nuts, brown sugar, nutmeg, earth, and allspice. Not overhwelmingly spiced. Flavor of earth, leaves, nutmeg, brown sugar, and some vegetal notes. Light-bodied, a little thin, with low-to-moderate carbonation and a quick finish. Good pumpkin ale.

2013-01-18 - with blankboy, jercraigs & mabel - c/o blankboy. Very bright and bubbly refractive deep amber with a smallish lasting frothy/creamy beige head. Aroma is spicy, sweet, vague roast appropriately vegetal malt - I got a bit of candy necklace in there too - sweet fake fruit, thankfully not too much of it, but enough to detract. [overhead by blankboy: "my favorite, Harry, is when you ask questions of yourself - what is that? - I think it’s ....">. Tastes like pumpkin spices, not much alcohol - simple, really. Average body, a bit astringent, mild carbonation, quick finish, a little harsh and overly spiced and sugary. Ehh.

My bottle [650ml] shared with HogTownHarry, jerc & mabel. Pours a deep amber-red with an average size lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma of spices (cinnamon, ginger and more), pumpkin and caramel malt. Flavour is malty along with pumpkin and spices. Average to medium bodied. A pleasant pumpkin beer.
