Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a clear reddish brown with a small, creamy off-white head. Burned caramel and subtle cinnamon in the nose. Medium body, burned caramel, chocolate – spices with cinnamon and cloves sticking out. A light bitterness. A decent and never overdone Pumpkin Ale. 230213

Brown color with medium sized compact head. Strong aroma of overripe fruits, sweet, some cookies, and luckily no cinnamon. The mouthfeel is rather dry; good flavor of caramel with light fruity side and delicate cinnamon and nutmeg. Correct bitterness; caramellish final.
Thanks for dosing the cinnamon! This is a very good biscuity example.

On tap @ Steamworks. Dark amber pour with a khaki head. Nose is big on the pie spices. A lot of nutmeg and all spice. Some caramel, vanilla, and a hint of marshmallow. Slight toasted nut aroma. Sweet tasting beer, not surprisingly. A lot of caramel and nuts. Toasted bread, some nutmeg, cinnamon, and all spice. A hint of ginger and vanilla. Subtle earthiness. Kind of a typical pumpkin beer...not bad.

Dull, hazy light brown colour. A lot of cinnamon and nutmeg in the aroma alongside sugar pie and light molasses. Mass spice in this one -unbalanced. It seemed so much smoother at the GCBF, but that was late in the fest. This is just a big whack of nutmeg, with hints of ginger. Dull malt flavours.

Sampled at GCBF ’10, pours deep amber with a beige head. Very strong pumpkin aroma with nutmeg and cinnamon as well. Flavour is quite spicy pumpkin and nutmeg. The body is quite hard-edged, but this wins points for potency.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2004 Deep brown colour with orange highlights and a thin tan coloured head that quickly fades. Aroma of nutmeg, coriander, and clove. Flavour is okay, spicy bitterness, slightly metallic on a faintly malty pumpkin accented brew. Body is quite thin and there is a harsh bitterness on the finish. Could have been much better
