Almost coca cola dark in colour with a thin tan head. Nose is of nuts, chocolate, and some warm spice. The taste is very nutty with a great chocolate and coffee finish. Best Nut Brown in Vancouver.

Said something along the lines of, this was a new batch, but I couldn’t understand. I understood this was a great beer. Nuttiness represents, but festers lightly. Cheers.

Nirvana is the ultimate state of compassion and wisdom. This ain’t it. Or maybe they meant the rock band? Loud and harsh? Looks very nice: shimmering clear brown color with a low sticky head. Toasted malt base with some nutty notes. Sweet syrup in the middle. Dryish woody end. Light - thin really.

Pint on tap at the brewpub pours a brown color with a finger of off-white head that leaves a little bit of lacing on side of glass. Aroma is light toasted malts and a trace of nuts. Taste is light caramel sweetness with some nuttiness and a bit of chocolate and a light hoppy bitter finish. A pretty decent brown ale with a medium body and light carbonation. Enjoyable and easy to drink.
