The beer pours a translucent orange colour with a very thing head, and a ton of effervescence. The aroma is pumpkin pie, grains and some metallic notes. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is pumpkin, spices, grains, and weak hops.

Darkj goldy clear look small white rocky head dissipates. Aroma is good sweet malt fruit and pie spices. Taste is a blend of allspice-like phenolics, hops that are herbaceous-leafy and a bit of citrus. Some weizen-like clove lemon and vanilla, some baked apples and raisins. Balance and palate are right on the mark for an enjoyable pumpkin ale style.

Nice pumpkin ale, good amount of spice, but not over the top. Some pie crust flavors, cinnamon, and pronounced nutmeg. Pleasant pumpkin pie finish, with subtle spicing.

650ml bottle from the LCBO. Bright brown body with a thin head which dissipated down to almost nothing. On the nose there is nutmeg, vanilla, ginger, green apple, some pumpkin and clove. No alcohol on the nose, but there is some presence on the finish with a nice warmth. Minimal hop flavors, there is a quite sessionable quallity of this beer, it is watery, but in a nice unique way.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Clear, light orangey brown with very minimal off-white head. Aroma of caramel and nutmeg with some ripe fall fruit. Quite light body. Cinnamon and biscuit malt add to the aroma flavours. Mild alcohol finish.

On tap @ Steamworks. Dark amber pour with a khaki head. Nose is big on the pie spices. A lot of nutmeg and all spice. Some caramel, vanilla, and a hint of marshmallow. Slight toasted nut aroma. Sweet tasting beer, not surprisingly. A lot of caramel and nuts. Toasted bread, some nutmeg, cinnamon, and all spice. A hint of ginger and vanilla. Subtle earthiness. Kind of a typical pumpkin beer...not bad.

2013-01-18 - with blankboy, jercraigs & mabel - c/o blankboy. Very bright and bubbly refractive deep amber with a smallish lasting frothy/creamy beige head. Aroma is spicy, sweet, vague roast appropriately vegetal malt - I got a bit of candy necklace in there too - sweet fake fruit, thankfully not too much of it, but enough to detract. [overhead by blankboy: "my favorite, Harry, is when you ask questions of yourself - what is that? - I think it’s ....">. Tastes like pumpkin spices, not much alcohol - simple, really. Average body, a bit astringent, mild carbonation, quick finish, a little harsh and overly spiced and sugary. Ehh.
